Fly into Quebec City at your leisure and enjoy this lovely town full of history and culture. We will meet at the beautiful Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac.

In the late afternoon, there will be a briefing on the Journey including a review of the first flight leg which will take us over Quebec City to Nuuk, Greenland.

This evening we will gather for a welcome cocktail to get acquainted with the group before we enjoy our first dinner together.

Our scenic flight across the Atlantic continues to Reykjavik, Iceland. Staying in the heart of the city overlooking the picturesque square of Austurvollur, we are within walking distance of Reykjavik’s iconic landmarks such as Hallgrímskirkja, the striking church that dominates the city skyline, and Althingi, the national parliament, one of the oldest existing parliaments in the world.

The following day, we will enjoy an incredible Super Jeep tour where you will witness Iceland’s most exciting natural attractions. First, we will visit Thingvellir National Park—a unique place of beauty with its interesting geology and history before heading eastbound on the mountain road to Lyngdalsheioi to view the lava fields on the hills above Laugarvatn. At Haukadalur we will visit the famous Strokkur geyser erupting and spewing boiling water into the air. We will spend some time here observing the eruptions and exploring the hot springs before heading up to the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall cascading into the white Hvita River along with glacial water.

The next leg of our Journey takes us to Munich, a modern, cosmopolitan city with a big heart and a long heritage in Germany. Upon arrival, we will transfer to Mandarin Oriental Munich, a luxurious five-star hotel nestled in the heart of the city’s old town. It blends elegant design with modern comfort, offering spacious rooms and suites, many with stunning views of the city. Guests can indulge in gourmet dining at Matsuhisa Munich, unwind at the rooftop pool with panoramic views, and enjoy personalized service that caters to every need.

Our time in Munich includes a half-day city tour to explore the marvels of the area. Discover Munich’s old town by foot, hearing fun facts and history about the city while enjoying photo stops at its prettiest sights such as Marienplatz, Frauenkirche, and Viktualienmarkt. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy this historical city. For those who wish to continue their Munich exploration, there is an optional tour to visit The Dachau Camp, the first Nazi concentration camp in Germany during the Holocaust.

Our discovery continues as we venture on a full-day tour to visit the Royal Castle of Neuschwanstein, better known as “Mad King Castle.” In this experience, you will escape to the Bavarian foothills of Füssen to explore the magnificent castle that served as inspiration for Disney’s ‘Sleeping Beauty’ movie.

Our Journey continues to Bodrum, situated on the southern Aegean coast of Turkey. This fabled coastline is where Homer’s heroes were born, where the ancient Greeks consulted their oracles, and the Romans built magnificent temples to honor their gods. Amanruya is set on a peaceful hillside, offering breathtaking views of the sea and a winding pathway leading to a sheltered pebble beach.

The next day, we will set sail on a half-day boat tour to explore Bodrum’s breathtaking coastline. Glide through turquoise waters, discover hidden coves, and visit picturesque bays. Relax on deck as we cruise past dramatic cliffs and quaint fishing villages, with stops to swim in crystal-clear waters and enjoy secluded beaches. With the sun shining and the Aegean breeze in the air, this unforgettable experience offers the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.

We will fly to Luxor, Egypt. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the luxurious Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa, nestled on the east bank of the River Nile in the village of Karnak. This Hilton gem offers stunning views of the river and the historic city of Luxor. Following an early dinner, we will visit the Luxor Temple, a marvel of ancient architecture initially crafted by Amenhotep III in 1380 BC.

The next day, we will explore Thebes, Luxor’s West Bank, and its secret tombs. We will discover the Valley of the Kings, home to richly-painted tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs, and the Valley of the Queens, the resting place of pharaohs’ wives and children. Next, we will stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that once guarded the entrance to Amenhotep III’s great temple, followed by a visit to the Luxor Museum, which showcases artifacts from ancient Thebes.

Continuing our exploration of Luxor, we will experience the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple, where the temple complex is brought to life with lights and sound, revealing its architectural marvels and the tales of the pharaohs. If the weather permits, we will enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile to Banana Island and Crocodile Island. This comprehensive journey allows us to delve into the rich history of ancient Egypt.

Located near key cultural landmarks, it serves as the perfect base for exploring the vibrant city of Kathmandu.

Spend the afternoon relaxing or begin exploring the capital’s rich culture.

Our adventure begins with a flight from Al Ula, Saudi Arabia, via Heraklion, Crete, before landing in Montenegro—known as the pearl of the Mediterranean. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the luxurious One & Only Portonovi, located at the entrance to Boka Bay in Herceg Novi. During our stay, enjoy pristine beaches, sailing, and scenic forest hikes along Montenegro’s stunning coastline.

Our Journey takes us to Montenegro, the pearl of the Mediterranean. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the luxurious One & Only Portonovi, set at the entrance to Boka Bay in Herceg Novi. During our stay, enjoy pristine beaches, coastal sailing, or scenic hikes through forested trails along Montenegro’s breathtaking coastline.

The next day, embark on a cruise from Tivat through the Bay of Kotor, where fjord-like landscapes surround the historic towns of Kotor and Perast. We will visit the glowing Blue Cave for a swim in its iridescent waters and explore the Mamula Fortress along with hidden Yugoslavian military tunnels once used to conceal ships and submarines.

To conclude our time in Montenegro, enjoy a day at leisure to relax or explore at your own pace. Whether you unwind by the beach, visit nearby villages, or indulge in a soothing spa treatment, this final day offers the perfect opportunity to embrace the beauty and serenity of the Montenegrin coast.

As we begin our return home, we will launch for our over-water crossing to Iceland. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Apotek Hotel in the heart of Reykjavik. This evening, we will gather for a farewell dinner to celebrate the experiences shared and reflect on the incredible adventure as it comes to a close.

The following morning, we bid farewell and begin our individual paths back home as our Journey comes to an end. En route, we will make two technical stops in Nuuk, Greenland and Goose Bay, Canada to refuel before continuing onwards to Bangor, Maine, to clear US Customs. Afterward, we will all go our separate ways home.

*For those based on the west coast of the United States, an alternate stop to clear US customs can be arranged.
