Fly to Charleston International Airport (KCHS), where Air Journey staff will welcome you for a briefing about the forthcoming flight. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the elegant Charleston Place. The hotel is famous for its traditional southern hospitality.

All participants will meet for introductions and attend an extensive briefing covering the general procedures of our journey as well as details for tomorrow’s departure.

Afterwards, we will gather for a welcome cocktail before dinner.

Bermuda, British Overseas Territories

Our journey begins with a flight to Bermuda, a picturesque island paradise known for its turquoise waters and pink sand beaches. Upon arrival, we’ll be whisked away to the exquisite Rosewood Bermuda, nestled along the island’s stunning coastline. Here, you’ll immerse yourself in unparalleled luxury and breathtaking views, where every moment promises serenity and sophistication.

Our Journey continues to Shannon, Ireland, where the adventure begins with a transfer to the quaint village of Adare. Nestled in the lush heartlands of Limerick County, Adare Manor and Golf Resort awaits, its 840-acre demesne steeped in history and surrounded by medieval ruins. Day one invites exploration of beautiful parklands, trout fishing on the river Maigue, and a renowned 18-hole championship golf course.

Day two offers leisure and discovery amidst the expansive 350-acre Adare Manor Estate. Engage in a variety of activities from horse riding, fishing, and falconry to modern pursuits like golf, cycling, and kayaking. Delve into the world of wine with a private tasting at the Wine Cellars, uncovering exceptional flavors and captivating histories.

On day three, immerse yourself in the majestic world of birds of prey. Skilled falconers introduce you to a diverse array of eight raptors, including owls like “Tiny” the Scops Owl and “Olaf” the Snowy Owl. Experience the thrill of a falcon’s speed and witness a Harris Hawk soar freely to your gloved hand, creating memories to cherish from your enchanting stay in Shannon.

Istanbul, Turkey

On the first day, we fly to Istanbul, Turkey, a fascinating city that stands at the crossroads of two continents. This city, rich in history, showcases layers of cultural and architectural beauty left by the Hittites, Hellenists, Romans, Byzantines, Seljuk Turks, and Ottomans, resulting in a magical destination.

The second day features a full day private tour, during which we will explore Istanbul’s most famous sights: the Basilica Cistern, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Suleymaniye Mosque, and the Pera District. We will also visit Dolmabahce Palace, the finest example of Ottoman Baroque in the city, followed by a private afternoon cruise on the Bosphorus. The day will conclude with a sunset cruise and dinner on the Asian side of the city.

The third day is for you to relish on your own terms, whether you desire to unwind and take it easy or venture out and discover new places. This is also an ideal moment to treat yourself to some retail therapy.

Samarkand, Uzbekistan

Continuing our adventure, we will arrive in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, and transfer to the Samarkand Regency Amir Temur. In the afternoon, we will head to the center of Samarkand to explore the renowned Registan Square, a true architectural marvel showcasing some of Central Asia’s most breathtaking historical monuments. Surrounded by mosques and madrasas adorned with intricate tiles and vibrant blue domes, the square will exude traditional charm. We will cap off the day with a delightful welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Our exploration of Samarkand will begin with a sightseeing tour of its majestic monuments. We will visit the Ulugh Beg Observatory, built by the esteemed astronomer Ulugh Beg, followed by Shah-i-Zinda, an impressive collection of 14th-century mausoleums exhibiting exquisite craftsmanship. A pilaf lunch will await us at a local caravanserai to refuel for the day’s adventures.

In Samarkand, we will visit a local bakery in the winding alleys of the Old Town, where we will observe the crafting of the famous local round bread. Next, we will pay our respects at the Guri Amir Mausoleum, the resting place of Tamerlane, before exploring the Bibi Khanym Mosque and the bustling Siab Bazaar. Later, we will transfer to Meros, a mulberry tree paper-making studio, for a traditional Uzbek open-air lunch and a captivating private performance by a local tightrope-walking family. As the day winds down, we will return to Registan Square, which will take on a magical aura after dark.

Agra, India

We will fly to Agra and transfer to our hotel, the Oberoi Amarvilas. Sixty-four fountains, filigreed stone bridges, and pillars greet guests as they cross the torch-lit courtyard of the grand entrance pavilion. Once situated in your room, enjoy the opulence of your own private view of the greatest monument to love, the Taj Mahal.

On the second day, wake up to the magnificent sight of the Taj Mahal, bathed in the first rays of dawn. Located just five minutes from the hotel, we will visit this extravagant monument, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his second wife, Mumtaz Mahal. This striking mausoleum has become the de facto tourist emblem of India.

The third day is dedicated to an enchanting journey through Agra, where the rich cultural tapestry of this vibrant city awaits you. Our tailored tour offers a unique shopping experience with the luxury of personalized exploration. With a dedicated car and driver per couple, immerse yourself in the bustling markets and exquisite boutiques that Agra has to offer.

Chiang Mai, Thailand

On the first day, we will fly to Chiang Mai, Thailand, and transfer to the Four Seasons Resort, Chiang Mai. Set on 20 breathtaking acres of tropical gardens and rice paddies in the Mae Rim Valley, the Four Seasons offers the perfect oasis for some rest and relaxation. The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy this beautiful setting.

On the second day, embark on an unforgettable elephant encounter in the serene landscapes of Chiang Mai. Step into a world where gentle giants roam freely, their majestic presence captivating hearts and minds alike. Join expert guides as they lead you through lush forests and tranquil riverbanks, where you’ll have the opportunity to connect with these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Experience the thrill of feeding and bathing elephants, forging bonds that transcend language barriers and touch the soul. Siem Reap, Cambodia

Fly to Siem Reap, a vibrant city that serves as the gateway to the magnificent Angkor Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its unparalleled splendor and historical significance. Angkor, once the heart of the mighty Khmer Empire, showcases an extraordinary collection of temples, palaces, and ancient structures that reflect the grandeur and ingenuity of a bygone era.

On the second day, we will board Tuk Tuks to begin our visit to the temple complex, Angkor Wat, and explore its spectacular monuments. It is the best-preserved temple at the site and the only one to have remained a significant religious center since its foundation—first Hindu, dedicated to the god Vishnu, then Buddhist towards the end of the 12th century. We will also visit Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm, a charming temple embedded in a forest and partly overgrown by huge jungle trees. After returning to the hotel for lunch and some relaxation, we will proceed on a delightful sunset cruise outside of town and discover the life in the floating villages along Tonle Sap Lake.

Singapore, Singapore

On the first day, we will fly to Singapore, a tiny island nation, for our stay at the Ritz Carlton hotel. A dynamic city rich in contrast, color, and culture, Singapore sits at one of the crossroads of the world, embodying the finest of both the East and West. Be mesmerized by the unbridled energy, world-class cuisine, spectacular architecture, and impressive arts scene.

On the second day, we will begin our adventure with a half-day guided city tour, exploring the cultural and architectural marvels of Singapore. From the iconic Marina Bay Sands to the historic Merlion Park, our knowledgeable guide will take us on a captivating journey through the city’s highlights. After the city tour, we will indulge in one of the world’s most renowned shopping destinations: Orchard Road Street. With its glamorous malls, flagship stores, and designer boutiques, this paradise for fashion enthusiasts and shopaholics alike will leave us spoilt for choice.

The third day is at leisure, allowing you to relax or explore Singapore on your own.

Borobudur, Indonesia

Our next destination is Borobudur, Indonesia. Upon arrival we will transfer to the perfect romantic setting of the Amanjiwo hotel, a volcano-surrounded wonder in the heart of Java. The Amanjiwo faces the 9th-century Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist sanctuary, as well as the mystical Tidar Hill, believed to house the spiritual and geographical center of Java. Behold the beautifully decorated grounds and views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The resort provides an insight into the Javanese culture of this rural heartland.

On the second day, we will explore the spectacular Borobudur Temple Compounds. Both a shrine to Lord Buddha and a place for Buddhist pilgrimage, it is the largest Buddhist sanctuary in the world. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the complex was built in the 8th and 9th centuries, abandoned around the 14th century, and rediscovered in 1814. The monument occupies a modest plateau, and from the top level, beautiful views of the emerald green landscape of Central Java can be seen. There will be free time today to experience an optional Jamu Massage, an ancient healing art form, in the privacy of your room.

The third day is at your leisure to relax and explore on your own.

Cairns, Australia

Fly to Cairns, Australia, where we will enjoy an overnight stay at the Shangri-La The Marina, to prepare ourselves for our charter flight the following morning.

Lizard Island, Australia

On the first day, our journey continues to Lizard Island, a premier resort on the northern edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Renowned for exceptional fishing and diving, it offers personalized fittings for snorkeling gear at the ‘Beach Club’ and access to motorized dinghies, paddle skis, sailboards, and glass-bottom boat tours. Explore 24 secluded beaches, indulge in island activities, and embark on scenic nature walks to immerse yourself in the vibrant reef and crystal-clear waters.

On the second day, we will embark on a Guided Natural Walking Tour of Lizard Island, where our knowledgeable guide will unveil its secrets, from its history to its diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch on a secluded beach, followed by exploration and snorkeling in the breathtaking surroundings. Later, take a behind-the-scenes tour at the Research Station, led by one of its Directors, accessible via glass-bottom boat or 4WD depending on the tide. Conclude your day with a serene cruise along the beaches, offering uninterrupted views of the stunning Lizard Island sunset, weather permitting.

The third day is at leisure to relax or explore on your own. You will be provided with a menu of activities to choose from, allowing you to tailor your day to your interests.

Nadi, Fiji

Our adventure continues to Nadi, Fiji. From there, we will embark on a charter flight to COMO Laucala Island, a luxurious resort where space is a luxury: 25 Residences spread out on private beaches, above lagoons, atop hills, and amidst jungle. Each tropical home is designed in harmony with Fiji’s extraordinary natural heritage, offering menus crafted around the bounty of the fields and oceans. Laucala offers a wealth of activities including golf, scuba-diving, sailing, and surfing.

On the second day, we will enjoy a private boat excursion to explore the neighboring islands. Our journey will take us to Castaway Island, Mana Island, Matamanoa Island, and finally MonuRiki Island, where we’ll stop for a swim, snorkel, and a walk along the beach, followed by a delicious lunch.

The third day is at leisure to enjoy the beautiful island at your own pace. Your Journey Director will be available to assist you in planning your day, ensuring you make the most of your time on Laucala Island.

On the first day, we will leave Fiji behind and fly to Lanai, Hawaii. Crossing the International Date Line, we’ll arrive to be greeted by the pristine beauty of Four Seasons Lanai, a luxurious haven nestled amidst lush landscapes and azure waters.
