This morning, meet your Journey Director at the airport before departing for Montego Bay, Jamaica, where we will transfer to Round Hill, a luxurious oasis nestled on a private peninsula. Our Journey continues to Arequipa, the “White City,” famed for its colonial-era buildings crafted from sillar, a distinctive white volcanic rock. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its historic center showcases the striking “Escuela Arequipeña” style, blending European and native influences. After landing, we will transfer to CIRQA, a boutique hotel in a beautifully restored 16th-century monastery, where elegant courtyards and modern comforts offer a tranquil retreat. Here, we will relax for the night and prepare for our flight the next day.

We will fly to Calama, located near the captivating San Pedro de Atacama desert, renowned for its Valley of the Moon. Our retreat, Tierra Atacama, offers a luxurious stay amidst the region’s stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Prepare for unforgettable excursions that will immerse you in the natural beauty and charm of this extraordinary place.

As our adventure continues, Tierra Atacama offers a wide range of activities, including hiking, biking, volcano climbing, and horseback riding. Discover remote lagoons, dramatic red rock formations, salt flats, and geysers, while exploring the unique landscapes and indigenous villages. In the evening, consider joining the optional Astronomy excursion (not included), where the southern skies come alive, showcasing planets like Mars and Saturn through powerful telescopes, offering a blend of scientific and ancestral wonder.

A cattle coral once stood where Tierra Atacama now stands; the ancient adobe walls are incorporated into its entrance as a testament to its history. Today, we will fly to the stunning Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival, we will transfer to Awasi Lodge, the perfect retreat for exploring the beauty of Iguazu National Park, and our home for the next three nights.

The following day, we will embark on an exhilarating boat tour upriver through the canyon to the base of the falls, where we will witness the awe-inspiring “Devil’s Throat.” Marvel at the natural spectacle of rainbows, mist, and cascading water.
