Quebec City, Canada

Fly into Quebec City at your leisure and enjoy this lovely town full of history and culture. We will meet at the beautiful Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac.

In the late afternoon, there will be a briefing on the Journey including a review of the first flight leg which will take us over Quebec to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland.

This evening we will gather for a welcome cocktail to get acquainted with the group before we enjoy our first dinner together.

Kangerlussuaq, Greenland

We will fly over the immense forests and numerous lakes of Canada on our way to Iqaluit for a technical stop.

Then continue over southern Greenland’s beautiful scenery before landing at Kangerlussuaq in western Greenland. The airport’s Kangerlussuaq Museum illustrates the town’s past as a U.S. airbase during WWII. Because we will be approaching the Arctic Circle and the “land of the midnight sun,” we will have an astonishing 20 hours of daylight!

Egilsstadir, Iceland

Embark on a two-day adventure in Egilsstadir, Iceland, starting with a flight to this picturesque destination. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the historic Lake Hotel, steeped in Icelandic heritage dating back to 1903.

The following day, indulge in relaxation at Vök Baths, where geothermal waters from Iceland’s Hot Springs provide a soothing experience amidst breathtaking views of Lake Urridavatn and the surrounding countryside. Immerse yourself in the tranquility and natural beauty of Egilsstadir during this memorable escape.

Shannon, Ireland

Our Journey continues to Shannon, Ireland, where the adventure begins with a transfer to the quaint village of Adare. Nestled in the lush heartlands of Limerick County, Adare Manor and Golf Resort awaits, its 840-acre demesne steeped in history and surrounded by medieval ruins. Day one invites exploration of beautiful parklands, trout fishing on the river Maigue, and a renowned 18-hole championship golf course.

Warsaw, Poland

Dive into an exciting 3-day adventure in Warsaw, Poland, where every street corner echoes with tales of resilience and revival. Explore iconic landmarks such as the statue of the Little Mermaid, City Hall, and Christiansborg Palace. After breakfast and an in-depth briefing, we will head to Reykjavik. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Hotel Borg, where we will enjoy an overnight stay, to rest and prepare ourselves for our flight the following day.

Ilulissat, Greenland

Embark on a thrilling 2-day expedition in Greenland, where awe-inspiring landscapes and icy wonders await. Day one begins with a flight to Kangerlussuaq, followed by a commercial flight to Ilulissat, where Hotel Arctic awaits. Nestled north of the Arctic Circle, Ilulissat boasts the spectacular Ice Fjord, teeming with massive icebergs from the mighty Sermeq Kujalleq glacier.

Day two promises a Glacier & Iceberg Cruise, offering mesmerizing views of ice floes and colossal icebergs. Witness the surreal beauty of hundreds of ice formations, ranging from flat-topped hunks to jagged peaks, some even dwarfing cruise ships. The following day, after breakfast, bid farewell to Greenland with a commercial flight back to Kangerlussuaq. Retrieve your airplanes and embark on a journey back to Bangor, Maine, with a technical stop in Goose Bay, Canada, concluding this unforgettable adventure.
