Day 1 - September 5th: Quebec City, Canada

Air Journey will greet you at the Chateau Frontenac where all participants will meet for introductions and to attend a very detailed briefing covering the general procedures of our Journey. We'll cover the route, regulations, flight plan, safety, etc.
There will be a welcome cocktail before dinner.

Day 2 - September 6th: Quebec City → Goose Bay, Canada (CYYR) - 580 NM

On our way today we will fly over the immense forests and numerous lakes of Labrador. Because we will be approaching the Arctic Circle and the "land of the midnight sun," we will have an astonishing 17 hours of daylight! Hotel: Hotel North, Goose Bay Breakfast and Dinner included

Day 3 - September 7th: Goose Bay (CYYR) → Narsarsuaq, Greenland (BGBW) - 674 NM → Reykjavik, Iceland (667 NM)

Our flight today takes us to Southern Greenland, where we will view the beautiful scenery before landing at Narsarsuaq airport to refuel. We'll continue over ice-covered Greenland and do our second water crossing as we fly to Iceland.

Day 4 - September 8th: Reykjavik

Today we will enjoy a full day of sightseeing where you will witness Iceland's most exciting natural attractions:  the magnificent waterfall Gullfoss; visit the volcanic crater Kerid and the greenhouse village Hveragerdi; drive across Gjabakkavegur Pass to the Thingvellir National Park, a unique place of beauty, with its interesting geology and history.
Dinner will be at the famous downtown restaurant, Einar Ben, located in one of the oldest trading buildings in Reykjavik.

Day 5 - September 9th: Reykjavik → Shetland Islands, UK (634 NM) → Prague, Czech Republic (793 NM)

Fly southeast toward the British Isles for our next stop, Sumburgh Airport in the Shetland Islands, to refuel.

Our flight continues to the Czech Republic to discover the beautiful city of Prague. One of the most beautiful and visited cities of Europe, this capital of 1.2 million has an incredible mix of Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque and Art Noveau architecture. The Vltava River winds through this "city of a hundred spires", its riverbanks and the surrounding hills contrasting with the compact, winding cobblestone streets of the old city centre.

Prague is lively and sophisticated, drawing on its centuries-old tradition of breakthrough thinking in literature, music, architecture and engineering.

At the crossroads of centuries-old trade routes and now the cultural and economic centre of the Czech Republic, Prague is an art-filled jewel in the heart of Europe. Alive with music and culture, it offers elegant riverside promenades, breath-taking architecture and cafe-lined squares.

Day 6 - September 10th: Prague

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing as we explore the history and precious cultural and architectonic heritage of Prague. It is one of the most attractive sites in Europe and not only for its geographic location is called the "Heart of Europe." It lies in the centre of Bohemia on the river.
Prague has been an important centre of the society and politics and a cross-road of various cultures for centuries. This cultural variety contributed to the creation of one of the most unique urban entities in the world. Prague is considered as one of the richest treasuries of world architecture the exceptionality of which has been acknowledged by entering the Prague historical town reserve in the UNESCO List of the World Heritage.

Day 7 - September 11th: Prague → Venice, Italy (Padova) (299 NM)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to fly to our next destination, Venice. Upon arrival at Padova airport (LIPU), we will transfer (30 min) and arrive in style in our Vaporetto at the beautiful Hotel Danieli.
The afternoon is free to enjoy this romantic city embellished with monuments of rare splendor making it truly unique.

Day 8 - September 12th: Venice

Today is free to enjoy this delightful city at leisure. You may want to discover the islands of Murano (glass-making) and Burano (lace-making) or Torcello.
No dinner is planned so that you may enjoy a romantic dinner on your own.

Day 9 - September 13th: Venice → Santorini, Greece (820 NM)

After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport to fly to Santorini, Greece.
We have selected the volcanic island of Santorini due to its well known magnificance and its truly unique characteristics; it combines an array of spectacular features that cannot be found anywhere else. The traditional villages of the island, built on tall cliffs, offer a breathtaking view of golden sunsets over the submerged volcano. Santorini combines colorful sandy and rocky beaches, wonderful archaeological sites, traditional Cycladic architecture, and the impressive Caldera and volcanic area. Our deluxe intimate resort will offer a pure natural and exclusive retreat for the next three nights.

Day 12 - September 16th: Santorini → Tivat, Montenegro (480 NM)

After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport to fly to Montenegro - the pearl of the Mediterranean.
Upon arrival, we will transfer to Sveti Stefan (Saint Stephen) - one of the world's most unique seaside resorts and best known for its beauty, comfort and beautiful pink sand beaches. Once a pirate stronghold, Sveti Stefan is now one of the best known and most exclusive hotel complexes in the Balkans with a distinguished guest list that reflects this Mediterranean paradise's worldly charm and character.

Day 13 - September 17th: Sveti Stefan

This morning we will tour the Old Town of Budva where you will be introduced to the main historical sites and learn more about the rich history of this town.
As you visit the Old Town of Budva, you might think that you have entered a labyrinth, with lots of narrow streets, squares, walls and towers from the late Middle Ages. Today, the ground floors of many houses have been converted into art galleries, shops, cafes, and boutiques. Within the Old Town is the city fortress, Citadela, dating from the 5th - 6th century AD. There are also the churches of St. Ivan (a monumental three-nave basilica, built in the 7th century AD), St. Mary's of Punta (the oldest building, dating from 840 AD) and the Holy Trinity (built in 1804).

Day 14 - September 18th: Tivat → Cannes, France (520 NM)

After breakfast, we'll transfer back to the airport for our flight to France.
Saint Jean Cap Ferrat is one of the loveliest places along the Mediterranean coast. We will proceed to the tip of Cap Ferrat to one of the most beautiful palaces in the world, the "Grand Hotel du Cap" set amidst of a stunning garden.

Day 15 - September 19th: Saint Jean Cap Ferrat

Today we will visit the village of Eze - one of the most picturesque spots in the region and a "must see" for visitors! Perched in an "eagle's nest" at the height of an imposing and superb cliff, the village and its light ochre church can be seen from afar. Once inside, you will discover a small Provencal village filled with charm and colorful window boxes, offering a panoramic view of the sea and coast-line. Small narrow raods, archways and superbly restored stone houses, shady squares, refreshing ancient fountains...the village is so beautiful.
The numerous small arts and crafts boutiques are hard to resist- some of them are like tiny caves dug out of the rocky hill-side. The streets of this medieval village have witnessed its historic past. The two look-out towers at the entrance, the door-way and the gun-boat are all classified as historic monuments.
We'll have lunch at the Chateau de la Chevre d'Or with a superb view overlooking the sunning coastline and vistas.

Day 16 - September 20th: Saint Jean Cap Ferrat

Today is at leisure to relax or explore on your own.
Tonight we'll visit the world famous Le Casino de Monte-Carlo. This legendary Casino, a gem of the art of the "Belle Epoque" is a top-notch reference among all gamblers. Its choice of table games is the most prestigious and most complete in Europe.

Day 17 - September 21st: Cannes → Paris (390 NM)

Our adventure continues as we proceed directly to Paris to arrive at Pontoise, north of the city.
We'll indulge ourselves in the luxury of the Hotel Plaza Athenee - one of Paris' most prestigious landmarks - located on Avenue Montaigne, the French capital's most chic district. We'll take an evening stroll to a local bistro where we'll enjoy dinner.

Day 18 - September 22nd: Paris

This morning you will enjoy a 1/2 day city tour to discover the highlights of Paris.
Afternoon is free to enjoy the city.
We will meet in the evening for dinner on an elegant Seine River cruise which will let us discover Paris' beautiful architecture along the quays.

Day 19 - September 23rd: Paris

Today is at leisure to relax and explore Paris on your own.
Optional tours can be arranged including a visit to the Louvre Museum, Orsay Museum, a local cooking class, wine tasting, etc.
No dinner is planned tonight.

Day 20 - September 24th: Paris → Wick, Scotland (591 NM) → Reykjavik, Iceland (640 NM)

A full day tour will give you the opportunity to meet and share the life of a winery family, enjoy breathtaking scenery, discover with your private tour guide the fascinating history of the medieval village of St. Emilion.

Day 21 - September 25th: Reykjavik → Nuuk, Greenland (771 NM) → Goose Bay, Canada (705 NM)

After breakfast and another in-depth briefing, we will head for Goose Bay (or Iqualuit) with a stop in Nuuk (or Kangerlussuaq) for lunch and to refuel before our final over-water crossing and touching down on the North American continent in Canada.

Day 22 - September 26th: Goose Bay → Home

After breakfast and a briefing, we will fly our separate ways as we complete our journey home.
