Fly into Quebec City at your leisure and enjoy this lovely town full of history and culture. We will meet at the beautiful Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac.

In the late afternoon, there will be a briefing on the Journey including a review of the first flight leg which will take us over Quebec to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland.

This evening we will gather for a welcome cocktail to get acquainted with the group before we enjoy our first dinner together.

Kangerlussuaq, Greenland

Fly over the immense forests and numerous lakes of Canada on our way to Kuujjuaq, in northern Canada, for a technical stop. Then continue over southern Greenland’s beautiful scenery before landing at Kangerlussuaq in western Greenland.

The airport’s Kangerlussuaq Museum illustrates the town’s past as a U.S. Air Force Base during WWII.

Because we will be approaching the Arctic Circle and the “land of the midnight sun,” we will have an astonishing 20 hours of daylight!

Our scenic flight across the Atlantic continues to Reykjavik, Iceland. Staying in the heart of the city overlooking the picturesque square of Austurvollur, we are within walking distance of Reykjavik’s iconic landmarks such as Hallgrímskirkja, the striking church that dominates the city skyline, and Althingi, the national parliament, one of the oldest existing parliaments in the world.

After a leisure morning in town, we will embark on an excursion to the renowned Blue Lagoon, Iceland’s most iconic attraction. Surrounded by stunning landscapes, the Blue Lagoon is a testament to the healing powers of geothermal seawater. Guests will have the chance to immerse themselves in the soothing waters, experiencing a unique blend of wellness and beauty amidst Iceland’s extreme volcanic environment.

Our adventure continues to Glasgow, where we’ll transfer to the iconic Cameron House, a 17th-century baronial hotel set amidst the stunning backdrop of Loch Lomond’s tranquil waters and lush Scottish countryside.

The second day offers a customizable experience, allowing you to design your own activities. Choose from a range of options including golf, clay pigeon shooting, archery, or water activities on Loch Lomond. Alternatively, opt for a private tour of the historic Inveraray Castle, ensuring a day tailored to your interests and desires.

On the third day, immerse yourself in the exhilarating world of falconry at Cameron House. Under the guidance of seasoned falconers, witness majestic eagles, hawks, and owls in flight, and even have the rare opportunity to hold a magnificent falcon on your gloved arm. The rest of the day is yours to explore the surroundings, engage in leisurely pursuits, or simply unwind and savor the enchanting experiences of your European escapade.

Embarking on our Italian adventure, we touch down in Olbia and make our way to the exquisite Hotel Cala di Volpe. Perched above the stunning Costa Smeralda bay, this architectural gem evokes the charm of an ancient fishing village, surrounded by Sardinia’s natural beauty.

After breakfast and an in-depth briefing, we will launch for our over-water crossing to Iceland and spend the night at Hotel Borg.

The following morning, we’ll head west to return home. Two technical stops have been arranged in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, and then in Goose Bay, Canada, for refueling before continuing onwards to Bangor, Maine, to clear US Customs. For those based on the west coast of the United States, an alternate stop to clear US customs can be arranged. Afterwards, we will all go our separate ways home.
