Our Journey continues to Quito, Ecuador, where adventure awaits at Mashpi Lodge, nestled amidst the captivating cloud forest just outside the city. Upon arrival we will transfer from Quito to this eco-friendly haven, where contemporary design meets the boundless wonders of nature.

Proceeding with our adventure, we will take a thrilling Dragonfly tour to explore the Mashpi Rainforest Reserve. Glide through the forest canopy aboard the Dragonfly cable car system, marveling at the diverse flora and fauna from both the forest floor and the treetops. Today, we will take a scenic road transfer back to Quito, Ecuador. Upon arrival, we will head to Casa Gangotena, where you can unwind and relax in preparation for tomorrow’s flight.

The next day, we will depart early aboard the luxurious Hiram Bingham train, part of the Orient Express, for an unforgettable expedition to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a scenic brunch as you travel through breathtaking landscapes en route to the Lost City of the Incas. Once there, a guided tour will immerse you in the history and grandeur of this awe-inspiring site, and you’ll have time to explore, walk around, and capture stunning photographs. We will embark on a commercial flight to Easter Island, a trip of approximately five hours (round-trip ticket cost not included). This remote island, shaped like a perfect triangle and situated in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, was formed by volcanic eruptions and geological changes two million years ago. It serves as a fascinating outdoor museum of an enigmatic ancient civilization.

Over the next two days, we will explore the isolated beauty of Easter Island, where a double-hulled canoe once brought seafarers from a distant culture about 1,200 years ago. In isolation, they developed a remarkable society and began carving the giant moai statues from volcanic rock—some of the most incredible ancient relics ever discovered. The Rapa Nui people, as they called themselves, left behind a legacy full of mystery. While science has shed light on some aspects of their history, many questions and controversies remain.

Canouan, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

After breakfast, we will fly to Canouan, a hidden gem in The Grenadines, known for its luxury and tranquility. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the elegant Mandarin Oriental Canouan, a tropical paradise with colonial-style suites and stunning sea views.
