Our destination is Cartagena, an enchanting city suspended in time between the 16th and 19th centuries, with the Caribbean Sea as its backdrop. This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts well-preserved colonial architecture, offering a walking city experience with restored mansions, horse-drawn carriages, and old-world style plazas. After check-in, we will gather for a welcome cocktail followed by our first group dinner.

The following day, guided by a local expert, we will embark on a walking tour of the historic walled old town. Uncover the hidden history of Cartagena as we visit iconic landmarks such as Puerta Del Reloj, Plaza San Pedro Claver with its stunning Church, and Plaza Bolivar. After lunch, our adventure continues with a drive to the impressive Castillo San Felipe, the largest Spanish fortification in the Americas, built in the 17th century. Our tour concludes with a visit to the 17th-century Convent of La Popa, perched atop the city’s highest point, offering breathtaking views of the bay, Old Town, and the Caribbean Sea beyond.

We will embark on a commercial flight to Easter Island, a trip of approximately five hours (round-trip ticket cost not included). We will continue our Journey to San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, a city renowned for its architectural charm and its privileged location amidst breathtaking landscapes of mountains, forests, lakes, and glaciers.

Today, we will fly to the stunning Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival, we will transfer to Belmond Das Cataratas, the perfect retreat for exploring the beauty of Iguazu National Park, and our home for the next two nights.

The following day, we will embark on an exhilarating boat tour upriver through the canyon to the base of the falls, where we will witness the awe-inspiring “Devil’s Throat.” Marvel at the natural spectacle of rainbows, mist, and cascading water. After breakfast, we’ll fly onwards to Canouan, nestled in St. Vincent & The Grenadines. Canouan Island, a secluded sanctuary, is swiftly gaining renown as one of the world’s top luxury destinations. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the new Mandarin Oriental, Canouan. Set against a backdrop of crystalline seas, powdery sand beaches, and lush greenery, this resort is a true island paradise, offering elegant colonial-style suites, Lagoon Villas, and Italian-designed Patio Villas.

Day two is yours to enjoy at leisure. Whether lounging on the beach or exploring the island in a golf buggy or bicycle (available for rent), there’s plenty to discover. Seek out the native tortoise species or seek out the historic Anglican Church, a testament to the island’s rich history. Later, we’ll gather for our pilot briefing followed by a delightful dinner.

Canouan is part of the Grenadines archipelago, comprising 32 islands and cays. On the final day, we’ll embark on an exploration of this captivating area, perhaps spotting sea turtles or visiting filming locations of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ on a half-day catamaran boat excursion. Optional activities abound, including snorkeling in Tobago Cays, visiting Mustique, strolling the beaches of Mayreau, or embarking on a deep-sea fishing trip.
