Our destination is Cartagena, an enchanting city suspended in time between the 16th and 19th centuries, with the Caribbean Sea as its backdrop. This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts well-preserved colonial architecture, offering a walking city experience with restored mansions, horse-drawn carriages, and old-world style plazas. Before enjoying dinner as a group, we will indulge in a delightful carriage ride tour, immersing ourselves in the city’s charm and history.

The following day, guided by a local expert, we will embark on a walking tour of the historic walled old town. Uncover the hidden history of Cartagena as we visit iconic landmarks such as Puerta Del Reloj, Plaza San Pedro Claver with its stunning Church, and Plaza Bolivar. After lunch, our adventure continues with a drive to the impressive Castillo San Felipe, the largest Spanish fortification in the Americas, built in the 17th century. Our tour concludes with a visit to the 17th-century Convent of La Popa, perched atop the city’s highest point, offering breathtaking views of the bay, Old Town, and the Caribbean Sea beyond.

After retrieving our planes, we will fly to Panama, enjoying a scenic approach into Panama City with sweeping views of the iconic Panama Canal, before transferring to Sofitel Casco Viejo for a two-night stay.

The following day, we will set out on a full-day tour of the Panama Canal, surrounded by lush vegetation and local wildlife, including monkeys. We will visit the Miraflores Locks to watch massive ships transit the canal and explore the interactive museum, then continue to the historic Old City to discover its most notable landmarks. Later in the evening, we will gather for a farewell dinner as our journey comes to the end.
