Flores, Guatemala

Air Journey will greet you at the airport for a briefing before embarking on the first leg of our Journey. We will fly to Flores, Guatemala, to visit Tikal. Upon arrival, we will transfer to Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel, our home for the next two nights. Located in a private reserve, we will be surrounded by lush greenery and abundant wildlife. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax, explore, or indulge in an optional spa treatment. All participants will meet for introductions and a welcome drink. Afterwards, we will gather for dinner as a group.

The following day, we will embark on a day of discovery to Tikal, known as the “City of Echoes”. Tikal is one of the largest archaeological sites and urban centers of the pre-Columbian Maya civilization. Located in the department of El Petén, the site is part of Guatemala’s Tikal National Park, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will enjoy lunch this afternoon, surrounded by the magnificent ruins. After our time at the Tikal ruins, you are free to explore further on your own or return to our hotel to relax and enjoy its amenities. With five lagoons and the unique Monkey Island located in one of them, there’s plenty more to discover and enjoy.

Liberia, Costa Rica

After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport and fly to Liberia, Costa Rica. Upon arrival, we’ll take a charter flight to Nayara Tented Camp, nestled in the heart of the Arenal Volcano National Park. Perched amidst the lush rainforest, Nayara Tented Camp offers breathtaking views of the volcano and access to a variety of activities such as guided nature walks, canopy tours, and hot spring soaks. Explore the surrounding rainforest, waterfalls, and wildlife on foot, bike, or horseback.

Continuing our Journey, we will embark on a unique rainforest expedition that will take us from the forest floor to the Arenal Volcano. We will traverse a network of trails and exhilarating suspension bridges, offering a distinctive perspective of the rainforest. After this remarkable trek, our next destination will be one of Costa Rica’s most iconic natural locations: the cone-shaped Arenal Volcano. Here, we will have the opportunity to walk through the dried lava fields and learn about the history behind La Fortuna and the 1968 eruption. Afterwards, we will savor a delightful traditional Costa Rican lunch before returning to our hotel.

The following day is at leisure to relax and explore the lush surroundings of Nayara Tented Camp on your own. Optional activities at the camp include guided rainforest hikes, bird watching, and visits to nearby hot springs. The wellness spa offers herbal treatments, volcanic mud wraps, and a variety of massage therapies. For those interested, yoga classes are available, providing a tranquil way to connect with nature amidst the stunning Costa Rican landscape.

Riviera Nayarit, Mexico

After our charter flight back to Liberia, we will fly to Puerto Vallarta. Upon landing, we will transfer to the stunning One&Only Mandarina. Nestled among Riviera Nayarit’s emerald cliffs and lush rainforests, this luxurious retreat provides an idyllic sanctuary for relaxation.

The following day, we will embark on a private boat excursion to enjoy some exciting snorkeling tour in Riviera Nayarit, exploring vibrant underwater worlds filled with colorful marine life. Together, we’ll swim through crystal-clear waters, discovering coral reefs and tropical fish. After our adventure, we’ll relax on the beautiful beaches, making it a day to remember.

The final day in Riviera Nayarit is yours to relax and explore on your own, before we gather for our final group dinner.
