Day 1 - Monday, May 27: Home → Quebec City, Canada (CYQB)

Welcome to Quebec City! Air Journey staff will greet you at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. Situated in the heart of historic Old Quebec, the hotel sits high on a bluff overlooking St. Lawrence River.

All participants will meet for introductions and attend an extensive briefing covering the general procedures of our journey as well as details for tomorrow's departure.

Afterwards, we will gather for a welcome cocktail before dinner.

Day 2 - Tuesday, May 28: Quebec City (CYQB) → Kuujjuaq, Canada (CYVP) → Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (BGSF) (690 + 725 NM)

We will fly over the immense forests and numerous lakes of Canada on our way to Kuujjuaq for a technical stop.

Then continue over southern Greenland’s beautiful scenery before landing at Kangerlussuaq in western Greenland. The airport's Kangerlussuaq Museum illustrates the town's past as a U.S. airbase during WWII.

Because we will be approaching the Arctic Circle and the "land of the midnight sun," we will have an astonishing 20 hours of daylight!

Our Transatlantic crossing continues as we fly to Reykjavik in western Iceland. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Hotel Borg where we will enjoy luxury accommodations in the very center of Reykjavik.

The Hotel Borg central location overlooks the beautiful square of Austurvöllur, and is situated across from Althing, the Icelandic parliament and the cathedral.

Day 4 - Thursday May 30: Reykjavik, Iceland

Today, we will set off on an unforgettable visit to the renowned Blue Lagoon, a mesmerizing oasis nestled in a faraway paradise.

As we arrive, the alluring turquoise waters will beckon, inviting us to experience ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation. Surrounded by dramatic lava rocks and lush greenery, a sense of tranquility will envelop us.

Embracing the chance to indulge in therapeutic treatments, from blissful massages to invigorating mud masks, we will create treasured memories, forever captivated by the Blue Lagoon's enchantment.

Day 5 - Friday, May 31: Reykjavik, Iceland (BIRK) → Stockholm, Sweden (ESSA) (1,145 NM)

We will leave Reykjavic behind as we fly to Stochholm, the capital city of Sweden as well as the largest urban area in Scandinavia. Rich in history and tradition, the more than 130 year old Grand Hotel Stockholm occupies a prime position on the city's waterfront overlooking the Royal Palace and Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s old town, a timeless classic that has played a pivotal role in shaping Stockholm as the cosmopolitan city that it is today. The hotel has borne witness to some of the world's greatest achievements. Since 1901, the Nobel Prize laureates and their families have all been guests of the Grand Hotel Stockholm and the list of royalty, heads of state and artists who have stayed is impressive.

Day 6 - Saturday, June 01: Stockholm, Sweden

Enjoy a city tour with our local guide to visit the wealthy Ostermalm District with the central city areas of Hotorget and Sergel Plaza and the Renaissance‐styled Royal Palace. Next, we will explore the 18th to 20th century buildings in the Kungsholmen district including City Hall (this is where the Nobel Prize Award dinners are held every year). Our drive continues to the southern shore of Saltsjon island for an amazing view of the city from the top of picturesque Fjallgatan Street. Continue to Stockholm’s charming Old Town, “Gamla Stan,” with time to stroll along the charming cobblestoned streets.

Day 8 - Monday, June 03: Stockholm, Sweden (ESSA) → Prague, Czech Republic (LKPR) (590 NM)

Our flight continues to the Czech Republic to discover the beautiful city of Prague. One of the most beautiful and visited cities of Europe, this capital of 1.2 million has an incredible mix of Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture. The Vltava River winds through this "city of a hundred spires", its riverbanks and the surrounding hills contrasting with the compact, winding cobblestone streets of the old city center.
Prague is lively and sophisticated, drawing on its centuries-old tradition of breakthrough thinking in literature, music, and architecture.

Day 9 - Tuesday, June 04: Prague, Czech Republic

Today, we will depart for a full day tour to discover the highlights of this beautiful city.
The largest ancient castle in the world, Prague Castle sits on the highest hill in the city. Gigantic St. Vitus Cathedral, part of the castle, towers over the city and took 600 years to build. The crown-jewels of the Bohemian Kings and relics of St. Wenceslas, the 10th-century Duke of Bohemia, are on display. We'll explore the history and precious cultural and architec- tonic heritage of Prague.

Day 11 - Thursday, June 06: Prague, Czech Republic (LKPR) → Catania, Italy (LICC) (760 NM)

Fly to Catania on the island of Sicily.

Upon arrival, we'll transfer to Taormina's seaside district on the Mediterranean Sea. Set on its own exclusive beach, beside one of the most beautiful coastlines in all of Italy, Villa Sant'Andrea overlooks the tranquil aquamarine sea. Built by an aristocratic family in 1830 among lush, subtropical gardens, this secluded retreat retains all the charm of a private residence.

Relax in a sun-dappled seat ot enjoy a short cable car ride to the center of Taormina with its many cultural attractions and sophisti- cated shopping scene.

Day 12 - Friday, June 07: Catania, Italy

We will explore along Sicily's eastern coast, past varied landscapes, gardens and traidtional villages including Fiumfreddo de Sicilia before heading inland for a visit to a local winery.

Rising in elevation, enjoy views of Mt. Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage site that dominates the Sicilian landscape.

After breakfast, we will fly to Tetouan, Morocco.

Upon arrival we wil transfer to the Banyan Tree Tamouda Hotel. This property is a luxurious seaside resort located in the charming coastal town of Tamouda Bay, Morocco. The hotel boasts stylish villas, stunning ocean views, and top-notch amenities such as a spa, outdoor pools, and gourmet dining options.

Day 15 - Monday, June 10: Tetouan, Morocco

Today, we will embark on an exciting adventure to Chefchaouen, where we will explore the enchanting "Blue Pearl" of the Rif Mountains. Our tour will be filled with vibrant markets, hikes to stunning waterfalls, and encounters with the welcoming locals. We'll savor the local cuisine, relax in traditional hammams, and shop for unique crafts, all while immersing ourselves in the captivating shades of blue that make Chefchaouen a one-of-a-kind destination.

Day 18 - Thursday, June 13: Bournemouth, England

Today we will be transported to a bygone era as we explore the magnificent Highcliffe Castle. Nestled on the stunning coastline, this historic gem, which dates back to the 1830s, stands as a testament to architectural brilliance. As we step foot into the castle's opulent interiors, we will immerse ourselves in the elegant Victorian era.

Beyond the castle walls lies a picturesque landscape that demands exploration. We'll meander through the lush gardens, where vibrant flowers and perfectly manicured lawns provide a serene backdrop. Strolling along the cliff-top path, we'll be treated to breathtaking views of the English Channel, allowing us to fully appreciate the castle's idyllic coastal location.

After breakfast, we will start our way back home as we fly to Iceland.

Upon landing, we will transfer to the Hotel Borg. Tonight, we will gather for a farewell dinner in downtown Reykjavik.

Day 21 - Sunday, June 16: Reykjavik, Iceland (BIRK) → Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (BGSF) → Goose Bay, Canada (CYYR) (1,025 + 730 + 870 NM)

After breakfast and another in-depth briefing, we will head for Goose Bay.

Our first technical stop is Kangerlussuaq for lunch and to refuel before taking our final over-water crossing and touching down on the North American continent in Canada for a second technical stop in Goose Bay before flying our separate ways home.
