Itinerary
Welcome to Quebec! Air Journey staff will greet you at the Chateau Frontenac.
All participants will meet for introductions and attend an extensive briefing covering the general procedures of our journey as well as details for tomorrow’s departure.
Afterwards, we’ll meet for a welcome cocktail before dinner.
We will fly over the immense forests and numerous lakes of Canada on our way to Goose Bay for a technical stop. Then continue our water crossing and land at Reykjavik, on the coast of Iceland.
Fly to Shannon where we will transfer to the picturesque village of Adare.
Situated in the lush heartlands of County Limerick, Adare Manor and Golf Resort is one of Ireland’s most evocative and spellbinding hotels. Steeped in exotic history and surrounded by medieval ruins, its 840-acre demesne is home to beautiful parklands, superb trout fishing on the river Maigue, and a renowned 18-hole championship golf course.
With our local guide we will explore the mighty Cliffs of Moher - one of Ireland’s most famous natural wonders. Hike along the 700’ high cliffs and admire spectacular views over the Atlantic Coast, Galway Bay and the Aran Islands.
There will be a stop in Doolin, a lovely village where we will enjoy a traditional Irish pub lunch.
In the afternoon we will visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. The park is a living history museum depicting 17th – 19th century rural Irish life through a series of cottages and street scenes.
Today is at leisure to relax or explore on your own. Visit Adare Village – considered Ireland’s prettiest village. An architectural wealth of scenic beauty, Adare’s main street is punctuated with beautiful stone buildings, medieval monasteries, ruins and a picturesque village park.
Fly to Porto. Six Senses Douro Valley presents a superbly renovated 19th-century manor house set high on a hill overlooking the vine covered rolling hills of the Douro Valley and the river below. This former farmhouse is a luxurious spa retreat offering spectacular views. The serene setting is the oldest demarcated wine region in the world and a UNESCO world heritage site.
The Douro Valley is one of the most magnificent wine regions in the world. Characterized by the steep terraced vineyards that line the wide and winding Douro River, the hillsides are interspersed with white and yellow hacienda style wineries.
We will explore this beautiful valley as we visit some of the top wineries and enjoy VIP tours and tastings at these fascinating estates. Meet the expert winemakers and sample the rich ports and reds that are produced here. Later we will embark on a cruise along the winding Douro River.

Fly to Madeira – a breathtakingly beautiful subtropical island off the coast of Portugal. Madeira Island is known for its rich natural beauty. Every part of this volcanic island has something different to offer and is abundant with picturesque landscapes of steep majestic mountains, dropping into lush green valleys and breathtaking views of its rugged coastlines.
Today’s tour follows the eastern coast of the island with a visit to Cabanas de São Jorge, a unique village overlooking the sea and surrounded by mountains and vineyards that feature some of Madeira’s most spectacular scenery.
We’ll stop in Ponta Delgada, a picturesque village with breathtaking natural surroundings, for a lunch of typical Madeira dishes before we continue to São Vicente, idyllically set in a beautiful valley where you will be able to visit the best underground volcanic features ever found on the Island, São Vicente Caves.
The return journey takes you through stunning valleys and ravines carved into the island over millions of years, passing through the beautiful zone of Ribeira Brava.

This would be a good time to enjoy one of the Levada walks - paths following the Levada irrigation channels right to the most hidden and magnificent spots on the island. Optional activities include deep sea fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, whale and dolphin watching, golf and horseback riding.
Fly to Menorca – one of the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy a haven of peace and tranquility at Cugo Gran, luxury country house in Menorca. This rural hotel goes hand in hand with the softest light, clear star-filled skies, glorious countryside and sea views, and the purest fresh air. Savor local gastronomy and explore the island’s remarkable beauty spots.
Today we will cruise the local waters on a private cataramaran (weather permitting) followed by lunch.

Fly to Brindisi. Borgo Egnazia is located in the heart of Puglia, immersed among the ancient olive groves of the Itria valley and only steps away from the crystal blue Adriatic sea of Savelletri. Today we will visit the Baroque architecture, caves, Neolithic sites, and stunning traditional hilltop villages.
Puglia is also known for its culture and magnificent landscapes, for the Swabian castle at Andria (hunting home of Frederick II), for the ‘trulli’ and for Mount Sant’Angelo, one of the oldest Michaelic cultural sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Baroque from Lecce, the measured elegance of Otranto (the easternmost city on the Italian peninsula), the ‘cummerse’ of Locorotondo and the overlooking views of the sea at Polignano offer truly unique panoramas.

Enjoy Berlin through a comprehensive, panoramic tour of the city’s history, architecture and culture with our local private guide. Visit Berlin’s Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie, the famous crossing point between East and West Berlin. We will travel to Museum Island for a visit to the Pergamon Museum. The Museum’s monumental highlights are truly breathtaking to behold.

Fly to Oslo, the capital of Norway which sits on the country’s southern coast at the head of the Oslofjord and known for its green spaces and museums.
There will be a half-day cruise in the beautiful Oslo Fjord in one of the Riva yacht, The Rivarama, called as “the floating suite”.

After breakfast and an in-depth briefing, we will launch our over-water crossing to Iceland. We will fly to Goose Bay for a technical stop to refuel before flying our separate ways as we head home.
