Itinerary
Air Journey will greet you at the St. Lucie County airport (KFPR) at the APP Jet Center FBO for a briefing on the upcoming flight. We recommend that you arrive a little early to refuel and collect your completed forms and survival gear.
We will then fly to Marsh Harbour.
This afternoon is at your leisure to relax on the beach or explore the island on your own. We suggest that you visit Hope Town, clearly the most scenic settlement in the Bahamas. The harbor and its famous lighthouse are stunningly beautiful and the quaint, vibrant-colored houses reflect simpler days. Motorized vehicles are restricted from town, so the streets are quiet and a pleasant place to walk.
At the end of the day we’ll enjoy a welcome cocktail before dinner at the hotel.
Today is at your leisure to relax by the pool, take a walk on the beach or discover the Abaco Islands on your own. Complimentary windsurfers, sunfish, hobie cats, and paddle boats are available at the Resort. Optional boat rentals are available.
Tonight we’ll enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Today we will fly to Long Island, island hopping on the way with a stop in Staniel Cay (optional) for lunch at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club. There will be time for snorkeling when we visit Thunderball Grotto (made famous by the James Bond movie). We’ll also make a stop to feed the infamous swimming pigs.
We’ll continue on to Long Island for our stay at the Stella Maris Resort. This rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to relax or explore on your own.
Today is at your leisure to relax or explore on your own. Complimentary kayaks, sunfish, and bicycles are available at the resort.
Optional activities available include bone, shark, or deep sea fishing, and snorkeling in the incredibly clear Bahamian waters among beautiful coral and colorful fish.
Watch the sun rise and go for an early morning swim before heading back to the airport for a morning departure. We'll fly to Fort Pierce for clearing customs before our return flight home.
