Day 1 - Saturday, February 18: Stuart, Fl. (KSUA) → Treasure Cay, Abaco, Bahamas (MYAT) (155 NM)

Air Journey will greet you at Witham Field (KSUA) in Stuart for a briefing about the flight.

Fly to beautiful Treasure Cay and transfer by water taxi to Green Turtle Club Resort on Green Turtle Cay. The afternoon is at leisure. Fish or sail, snorkel or dive in the turquoise clear waters or just unwind, relax and recharge on the beach or by the pool. Explore remote islands, beaches and secret coves of 17th century Caribbean pirates or visit quaint 18th century fishing villages first settled during the Revolutionary War by Loyalists who fled to Abaco and the other islands of the Bahamas.

At the end of the day we will meet by the infinity-edge pool for a welcome cocktail before dinner.

Day 2 - Sunday, February 19: Treasure Cay, Abaco, Bahamas

Today we will visit Brendal's Dive Center to experience the sea and the coral reefs surrounding the beautiful island of Green Turtle Cay. We will strap on a mask and snorkel, and jump into the Atlantic Bahamian waters for a glimpse of the remarkable marine life down there.

Afterwards, we will enjoy a delightful fresh seafood barbeque at an unhabited beach, served with island drinks and fruit punch. (Note: Grilled chicken can be substituted for non-seafood eaters or dietary needs.)

Day 3 - Monday, February 20: Treasure Cay, Abaco, Bahamas

Today is at leisure to relax or explore on your own.

For the fishermen, bonefishing in the Abacos is a popular activity. Fishing the reefs for grouper and snapper are fun for all anglers.

For the golfer: Transfer to Treasure Cay for a round of golf at the Treasure Cay Golf Club. This 6,985-yard classic island gem was designed by Caribbean fixture Dick Wilson. The front nine comes out swinging with two par fives of 500 and 555 yards. The back nine reels things in a bit; the shorter holes and myriad of bunkers and water hazards will have your irons and wedges in regular rotation.

Day 4 - Tuesday, February 21: Treasure Cay, Abaco, Bahamas (MYAT) → North Eleuthera, Bahamas (MYEH) → Harbour Island, Bahamas (85 NM)

Today we’ll fly to North Eleuthera. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Coral Sands Hotel on beautiful Harbour Island. Situated on eight tropical acres, with lush landscaping , swaying palms, hibiscus, bougainvillea and jasmine, the Coral Sands Hotel is the perfect spot to enjoy the powder-fine sand beach and sparkling sea.

Included with your stay is a golf cart (the primary and preferred mode of transportation on the island).

Day 5 - Wednesday, February 22: Harbour Island, Bahamas

Today is at leisure to relax on the pink sand beach or explore on your own!

Complimentary chaise lounges, beach umbrellas, beach towels and non-motorized water sport accessories - including kayaks, boogie boards, paddleboards, beach bicycles, snorkeling equipment, beach volleyball, buckets and shovels - are all provided by the hotel. The hotel also has a beautiful lighted tennis court.

Day 6 - Thursday, February 23: Harbour Island, Bahamas

Enjoy the serenity of the pink sand beaches, or stroll through the beautiful town of Harbour Island, where a unique blend of New England village meets Caribbean color.

Day 7 - Friday, February 24: North Eleuthera, Bahamas (MYEH) → Stella Maris, Long Island, Bahamas (MYLS) (135 NM)

Today we’ll fly to Long Island. The Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort provides mile after mile of silky-fine sandy beach that melts into the warm turquoise water. This scene is considered by many to be the most beautiful beach in the Bahamas.

Once settled into the Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort, the remainder of the day is free.

Day 8 - Saturday, February 25: Stella Maris, Long Island, Bahamas

Today we’ll retrieve our airplanes and fly to Great Inagua (the most southerly and third-largest island in the Bahamas) where the resident population includes over 80,000 West Indian Flamingos (the national bird of the Bahamas) and 924 Bahamians.

We’ll have lunch before our tour to the Morton Salt Crystal Factory to see the great salt mine and to Inagua National Park where we will view the flamingos (it’s one of the largest nesting grounds for flamingos in the Western Hemisphere).

Afterwards, we’ll fly back to Stella Maris.

Day 9 - Sunday, February 26: Stella Maris, Long Island, Bahamas

Today is at leisure to relax or explore on your own.

Enjoy this beautiful paradise as you explore the miles of silky-fine sandy beach all to yourself, sparkling turquoise water to one side, gently swaying palm trees to the other.

A central road runs from north to south along Long Island, lined with small villages and beautiful colonial churches that give the Bahamas its untouched feeling. With names like Burnt Ground, Deadman's Cay, Bunchs, Doctor's Creek, and Mangrove Bush, these villages offer a glimpse into the relaxed Bahamas lifestyle.

Watch the sun rise and go for an early morning swim before heading back to the airport for a morning departure.
