Welcome to Quebec City! Air Journey staff will greet you at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. Situated in the heart of historic Old Quebec, the hotel sits high on a bluff overlooking the St. Lawrence River.

All participants will meet for introductions and attend an extensive briefing covering the general procedures of our journey as well as details for tomorrow's departure. Afterwards, we will gather for a welcome cocktail before dinner.

Day 2 - Monday, August 26: St. Quebec City, Canada (CYQB) → Goose Bay, Canada (CYYR) → Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (BGSF) (575 + 870 NM)

We will fly over the immense forests and numerous lakes of Canada on our way to Goose Bay for a technical stop.

Then, continue over southern Greenland’s beautiful scenery before landing at Kangerlussuaq in western Greenland. Upon arrival we will transfer to Hotel Kangerlussuaq, where we will enjoy an overnight stay to prepare ourselves for tomorrow’s flight.

Day 3 - Tuesday, August 27: Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (BGSF) → Reykjavik, Iceland (BIRK) (730 NM)

After breakfast, we will board our airplanes and fly to Reykjavik, Iceland.

Upon arrival we will transfer to the Hotel Borg. Enjoy luxury accommodations in the very center of Reykjavik. The Hotel Borg overlooks the beautiful square of Austurvollur and is situated across from Althingi, the Icelandic parliament and the cathedral.

Day 5 - Thursday, August 29: Lake Como, Italy

With our local guide we’ll begin an exploration of Como, the lake’s main town, as we discover its historic center. After lunch, enjoy a cruise along Lake Como.

We’ll have the opportunity to observe along its shores the various small and characteristic local villages and magnificent villas that are not possible to see from land. Lake Como sits at the foot of the Alps and offers some of the most beautiful scenery in Italy’s Lake District.

We'll explore the history and precious cultural and architectonic heritage of Prague. It is one of the most attractive sites in Europe and not only for its geographic location is called "Heart of Europe". It lies in the center of the Bohemia on the river.

We will leave Lake Como behind, as we will fly to Rhodes, Greece.

Day 11 - Wednesday, September 04: Tbilisi, Georgia

Today, we will embark on an enriching experience beyond Tbilisi's city limits, starting with a scenic drive to the 6th-century Jvari Monastery perched atop a cliff, overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers.

Our adventure will continue to the historic city of Mtskheta, where we will explore the sacred Svetitskhoveli, a site that houses the Robe of Christ. After our cultural exploration, we will savor a delightful wine tasting and lunch at Chateau Mukhrani (or Gura- mishvili’s Winery), enjoying Khinkali dumplings and experiencing a Churchkhela sweet-making masterclass.

Our adventure continues with a full-day exploration of Tbilisi and this city's rich history, vibrant culture, and captivating architecture. In the Old Town, we'll stroll through cobbled streets, admiring iconic Georgian houses and the oldest surviving church, Anchiskha- ti Basilica, before taking in a panoramic view from Narikala Fortress.

After lunch, we will be able to choose between an optional visit to the National Museum of Georgia or leisure time before our evening

Today, we'll marvel at iconic landmarks like the Monument and Park of Independence, resembling a white-marble “Eiffel Tower” nestled in a beautiful park. We'll explore the rocket-like Arch of Neutrality, the exquisite Ertugul Gazi Mosque with Blue Mosque influences, and the enigmatic “Palace of Happiness” (Wedding Palace). Afterward, we'll break for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, we'll immerse ourselves in Turkmen culture with a special dinner comple- mented by a folk show, offering a captivating glimpse into local customs through traditional music and songs.

Our journey will continue to Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe, one of the first 5-star luxury destinations in the city conveniently located in the city center on the grounds of City Park, adjacent to Lake Javonon. The property reflects the distinctive flavor of Tajikistan in the design of its generously sized rooms and suites.

Day 16 - Monday, September 09: Dushanbe, Tajikistan

We will begin our exploration of Dushanbe with a visit to the Novruz teahouse, renowned for its unique exterior design, and then proceed to Rudaki Park and Independence Park. Afterward, we will venture outside the city to the picturesque Varzob gorge, which is a short drive away, and enjoy a picnic lunch by the river. We will have the opportunity to leisurely stroll through the natural landscapes, taking in the breathtaking mountain and river views, before our return to Dushanbe later in the afternoon.

Fly to Jaipur. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Rambagh Palace Hotel, our home for the next 3 nights. Jaipur, the walled capital city of Rajasthan, has been fondly known as the “Pink City” since it was painted pink in 1876 as a sign of the people's hospitality towards the visiting Queen Victoria of England and the Prince of Wales.

Day 18 - Wednesday, September 11: Jaipur, India

This morning we will discover the main attractions in Jaipur. We will visit the Hawa Mahal known as the "Palace of the Winds." This beautiful façade is probably the most-photographed in Jaipur, with its ornately carved windows designed so the ladies of the palace could look out onto the streets unobserved. It is considered the finest example of Rajput architecture whose lattice like exterior of sandstone and stained glass is one of the area’s most eye-catching icons.

We will continue to the 16th century Amber Fort. Tour the chambers and hallways of the palace. Within the complex is Ganesh Pol, an imposing gateway painted with the images of the elephant-headed god, Ganesh. The merging of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles is visible throughout, including within the Charbagh garden with its perfectly proportioned landscaping.

Day 19 - Thursday, September 12: Jaipur, India

Our adventure for the day starts with an unforgettable full-day tour of Ajmer and Pushkar, departing from Jaipur. In our private, chauffeured A/C vehicle, we'll journey through the heart of this multi-faith region, starting with the spiritual serenity of the Sufi Muslim Dargah Sharif, followed by the intricate beauty of the Nasiyan Jain Temple, and concluding at India's exclusive Hindu temple dedicated to Brahma, the creator of the universe.

In the late afternoon we will drive into the dual World Heritage–listed National Park begins the evening, followed by a leisurely walk through the Cultural Centre where the informative and interactive displays provide insight into the spiritual and cultural meanings of Uluru (formerly Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta. Continue on to the twilight viewing area where you can take in the iconic sunset over Uluru.

Experience the remarkable changing colors of the desert landscape and the spectacular sight of Uluru as day breaks over Australia’s heartland.

A walk to peaceful Mutitjulu Waterhole offers a unique insight into the sheer physical and spiritual enormity of Uluru. During the walk your guide will point out cave paintings and other relevant sites important to Anangu and the early explorers. They also share the Anangu creation story of Kuniya and Liru, adding greater depth to Uluru’s striking features.

To climb the world’s largest monolith is against the wishes of traditional owners because the path otherwise followed is the traditional route taken by their ancestral Mala (rufous hare-walla- by men) on their arrival at this sacred place. A walk along the base offers a deeply personal, moving and lasting experience.

Today, we will experience Tasmania's whisky, gin and wine in a unique way with a top shelf helicopter tour. We will truly relax and take in the stunning scenery as we will be flown to each destination to indulge in the tastes and tales of the best whisky & gin distilleries in Tasmania. Locations include Lark Distillery or Killara Distillery in the Southern Midlands and McHenry Distillery on the Tasman Peninsula.

In between the distilleries, we will fly to Frogmore Creek Restaurant and Cellar Door in the Coal Valley Wine Region, Cambridge, for lunch inspired by local seasonal produce accompanied with their cool climate wines.

This morning will be at your leisure to relax or explore on your own.

In the late afternoon, we will venture in a tour to encounter Bicheno Penguins in the wild. A short ride will take us to the private penguin rookery. The penguin rookery has been established over 30 years through rehabilitating farmland back to penguin friendly habitat. From here, we will explore the penguin rookery with our guide, who will teach us some interesting facts about penguins and what steps we can all take to improve the life of these little birds.

From Hamilton Island, we will take a helicopter transfer that will take us to our final destination: Hayman Island. Upon arrival we will transfer to the beautiful Hayman Island Resort, which is ideally situated in the Great Reef Barrier.

After breakfast, we will enjoy a catamaran excursion to explore the well-known Great Barrier Reef. We will discover all the beauty of this natural wonder, while we snorkel with a huge array of tropical fish, and see coral formations that don’t exist anywhere else on the planet.

Enjoy the many ways to experience the reef even if you don't want to get wet. Take a tour on Reefworld’s semi-submarine, or look out from the underwater viewing chamber.

Today we will get a bird’s-eye view over Kuala Lumpur from the Observation Deck of the 88-story Petronas Twin Towers. During our visit, we will ride up to the observation deck, located about 557 feet (170 meters) above ground, and take unforgettable photos while we marvel at the cityscape from the Skybridge.

Next, we will be driven around this spectacular city to visit its historical sights such as Merdeka Square (Independence Square) the National Mosque, the shop at Central Market and the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre.

Then, we will head to the magnificent Batu Caves. This 100-year-old temple features idols and statues erected inside the main caves and around it. Incorporated with interior limestone formations said to be around 400 million years old, the temple is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus.

Our exploration today begins with a sightseeing tour of the city's majestic monuments. We will explore the Ulugh Bek Observatory. Bek was the grandson of conquer Tamerlane and one of the most esteemed astronomers of his era. Our experience will then take us to Shah-i-Zinda, a collection of grand mausoleums from the 14th century showcasing various forms of highly developed craftsmanship. We will pause for a pilaf lunch at a local caravanserai.

Today, we will further explore Samarkand, starting with a visit to a local bakery tucked away in the winding alleys of the Old Town, where we will witness the art of crafting the renowned local round bread. Afterward, we will explore the Gur-Emir Mausoleum to pay our respects at the tomb of Tamerlane. Our experience continues with visits to the Bibi-Khanum Mosque and the bustling Siab Market.

Later, we will transfer to Meros, a mulberry tree paper-making studio, to relish a traditional Uzbek open-air lunch and enjoy a captivating private performance by a local tightrope-walking family. In the evening, we will revisit Registan Square, which takes on a particularly enchanting aura at night.

We will leave Samarkand behind as today we will fly to Baku, Azerbaijan. Straddling the Middle East, Europe and Asia, the enigmatic capital of Azerbaijan sits on the coast of the opal-blue waters of the Caspian Sea, with the Caucasus Mountains to the west. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the beaux-arts-style Four Seasons Hotel perched along the waterfront in the heart of central Baku.
After dinner, we will head to the Martyrs’ Alley above the city to enjoy a unique night panoramic view of the illuminated city and the Flame Towers.

Day 61 - Thursday, October 24: Baku, Azerbaijan

In the morning, we'll explore Icheri Sheher, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with historical buildings and narrow lanes and one of the Middle East's oldest continuously inhabited areas. We'll visit the Museum Palace of Shirvan Shahs and savor tandir bread. Our experience continues at the iconic Maiden Tower, also a UNESCO Heritage site. Later, we'll discover the art of crafting traditional silk scarves and have lunch at a local restaurant.

Later, we will visit the modern Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center with an impressive exhibition space. In the early evening, join us at the Baku Caviar Boutique for a unique tasting of Caspian black caviar paired with champagne. The day concludes with a festive farewell dinner at a local 18th-century caravansary-turned-elegant restaurant offering dishes like Shah pilaf and a traditional folk show with live “Mugham” music, a UNESCO-recognized intangi- ble heritage.

From ancient constructions dating back to the 1500s to modern architectural marvels, the city of Luxembourg is filled with impressive buildings and is a must-visit for architecture and history. Today we’ll go on a half day city tour of Luxembourg. Visit the “Palais Grand-Ducal”, City Hall and the business district.
