Day 1 - Friday, August 28: Home → Nantucket, MA

Welcome to Nantucket! Air Journey will greet you at the White Elephant - a luxurious resort on Nantucket Island.
 
Edging the harbor, White Elephant is steps from the heart of Nantucket downtown, the Brant Point Lighthouse, and beaches. Relax by the outdoor heated pool in a private cabana or hop on a bike and explore the area.
 
Later in the afternoon, all participants will meet for introductions and attend a pilot briefing covering the general procedures of our Journey as well as details for tomorrow’s departure.
 
Afterwards, we will gather for a welcome cocktail before dinner.

Day 2 - Saturday, August 29: Nantucket → Halifax, Nova Scotia (360nm)

Fly over the rugged granite coast of Nova Scotia - land of light houses.

Day 3 - Sunday, August 30: Halifax

Step back in time to the days of the whalers. Our tour combines the most interesting historical places in Halifax and the beautiful Peggy’s Cove with its unique scenic view, Canada's most famous lighthouse and surrounding area. You will see Government House, St Mary’s Cathedral, The Citadel and Citadel Hill, Public Garden and Titanic's victim grave yard.

Day 4 - Monday, August 31: Halifax → Sydney, Nova Scotia (165nm)

Today we will fly to Sydney located on the Cape Breton Island. Situated high on a cliff surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and a view of majestic Cape Smokey rising out of the sea, the Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa is a prime location to explore the Cabot Trail.
 
Enjoy Cape Breton Highlands National Park hiking trails, sea kayaking, mountain biking and many more.

Day 5 - Tuesday, September 1: Cape Breton

Discover Cape Breton’s North Shore. At Kelly’s Mountain, we will stop at two stunning lookouts–the Bras d’ Or and Saint Ann’s Bay. From the spectacular Saint Ann’s enjoy scenic views of the Bay before we proceed via the Englishtown Ferry and tour through the beautiful Cape Breton Highlands along the Cabot Trail.
 
On the way, stop at the Highland Links Golf Course, which has been ranked as the number one golf course in Canada. Enjoy an extensive look at Cape Breton on this unforgettable tour.

Day 6 - Wednesday, September 2: Cape Breton

Today is at leisure to relax or explore on your own.
 
Meander rolling hills overlooking breathtaking seascapes, discover the abundant flora and fauna of the Highlands and experience the rich cultural heritage of this extraordinary destination.

Day 7 - Thursday, September 3: Sydney → Saint Pierre et Miquelon, France (165nm)

Fly to Saint Pierre et Miquelon, a French archipelago south of the Canadian island of Newfoundland.
 
Located in the historical downtown of St Pierre, at a few minutes’ walk from the ferry service and a 2 minutes' car drive from the airport, the Jacques Cartier Hotel is the newest and most luxurious stay in the archipelago.

Day 8 - Friday, September 4: Saint Pierre et Miquelon

Explore a true natural sanctuary, the archipelago is home to many species: seals, dolphins, whales and killer whales. Dive between the islands under a breathtaking scenery crowned with aurora borealis.
 
We will take a boat trip to see these killer whales, experience the nature and powerful panoramic views in this tour.

Day 9 - Saturday, September 5: Saint Pierre et Miquelon → Fogo Island, New Foundland (190nm)

Fly to Fogo Island, the largest of the offshore islands of Newfoundland and Labrador. With a runway length of 3,000 feet, Fogo Airport may be a bit short for some. There is the alternative airport of Gander (CYQX) with a 10,200 foot runway as an option followed by a road transfer to Fogo Island.
 
Upon arrival we will transfer to Fogo Island Inn that sits on an island, off an island, at one of the four corners of the Earth.

Day 10 - Sunday, September 6: Fogo Island

We will explore this mystical destination by passing through ancient hills and abandoned communities like Lion’s Den, Wild Cove, and Eastern Tickle.
 
Spend time with community hosts, naturalists, and geologists-in-residence that will guide you through this still-wild world.

Day 11 - Monday, September 7: Fogo Island

Today is at leisure to relax or explore this beautiful island on your own.
 
Watch glimpses of majestic whales from the shore or uncover the history, culture, and natural wonders of this magnificent place. With dozens of guaranteed breathtaking hikes right at your doorstep, the Island’s “near North” landscape beckons exploration from Fogo Island Inn.

Day 12 - Tuesday, September 8: Fogo Island → Îles de la Madeleine → Quebec City (329 + 396nm)

Today we continue to Quebec City, Canada, with a lunch stop in Îles de la Madeleine, also known as the Magdalen Islands.
 
Enjoy this breathtakingly beautiful enclave in the middle of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, famous for white sand beaches and jaw dropping scenery.
 
After Lunch, we will head to our final destination - Quebec City. Canada's mostly French-speaking Québec province. Dating to 1608, it has a fortified colonial core, Vieux-Québec and Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets. This area is the site of the towering Château Frontenac Hotel and imposing Citadelle of Québec.

After breakfast and an in-depth flight briefing, we will fly our separate ways as we head home.
