Enjoy a morning stroll in Victoria's famous Butchart Gardens, a National Historic Site of Canada, offering 55 acres of beautifully designed flower beds, lily ponds, foot bridges and landscapes. Butchart Gardens' highlights include the Sunken Garden, Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, Italian Garden and the magnificent Ross Fountain.
In the afternoon, we will learn about Victoria's historic charm and modern highlights as we travel through the area's most intriguing neighborhoods and stop to explore local landmarks like Beacon Hill Park, Mt Tolmie, Antique Row and Oak Bay Marina. We will visit the Scottish baronial mansion Craigdarroch Castle, another National Historic Site of Canada, which you can explore at leisure.
