Afterwards, we will gather for a welcome cocktail before dinner.
We will fly over the immense forests and numerous lakes of Canada on our way to Kuujjuaq for a technical stop.
Then continue over southern Greenland’s beautiful scenery before landing at Kangerlussuaq in western Greenland. The airport's
Kangerlussuaq Museum illustrates the town's past as a U.S. airbase during WWII.
Because we will be approaching the Arctic Circle and the "land of the midnight sun," we will have an astonishing 20 hours o
daylight!
Fly over ice-covered Greenland as we continue towards Iceland.
Upon arrival, we'll transfer to the Hotel Borg where we will enjoy luxury accommodations in the very center of Reykjavik. The Hotel Borg overlooks the beautiful square of Austurvollur, and is situated across from Althingi, the Icelandic parliament and the cathedral.
After dinner at the hotel, you may want to venture on your own to experience the local nightlife.
Today we will witness Iceland’s most exciting natural attractions; we will see the one and only original Geysir, the magnificent Gull-foss Waterfall, the volcanic crater Kerid and across Gjabakkavegur.

The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore or relax on your own.
Fly to Deauville. Upon arrival we wil transfer to Chateau de Canisy, a privately-owned chateau in France's Canisy. The Chateau
has a presence in history of monumental proportions.
Set on 740 acres of verdant Normandie countryside, Chateau de Canisy has remained in the same family for over 1,000 years. Enjoy
the lifestyle of French royalty as the de Kergolay family welcomes us into their home.
Discover the sites of D-day (June 6, 1944) - the largest invasion force in history. Codenamed OVERLORD, it delivered five naval
assault divisions to the beaches of Normandy (codenames UTAH, OMAHA, GOLD, JUNO and SWORD).
We will walk among the cliffs, bunkers and edges stored in history, visit several museums, D-Day memorials and the very moving American Cemetery.
We continue to explore Normandy as we make our way to the tidal island of Mont Saint Michel.
Perched on a rocky islet in the midst of vast sandbanks exposed to powerful tides between Normandy and Brittany stand the 'Wonder of the West', a Gothic-style Benedictine abbey dedicated to the archangel St Michael, and the village that grew up in the shadow of its great walls, having had to adapt to the problems posed by this unique natural site.
Fly to Menorca - one of the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea.
Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Hotel Torralbenc. The hotel is set in a charming, traditional Menorcan finca surrounded by rolling farmland and vineyards, yet close to the island’s sandy beaches with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea.
With a delightful restaurant with a garden terrace and sea views, a salt-water outdoor pool, a romantic chapel and pretty gardens, this is the place to come for the perfect island hideout.
Today we will cruise the local waters by private boat (weather permitting) as we explore the island by sea.
There will be plenty of time for swimming as we explore the many “calas” or bays of the area, some only accessible by boat. Along the way, we will stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
Today is at leisure to relax or explore on your own.
For those who are interested in exploring outside the property, Menorca’s two main cities: Maó or Ciutadella are great places to visit. Both places are full of charming cafes, shops and attractions.
Our next stop is Lucerne, Switzerland. We will fly into Zurich before transferring to Lucerne for our stay at the Burgenstock Hotel. Perched atop a mountain in central Switzerland, the Burgenstock Hotel overlooks beautiful Lake Lucerne with heart-stopping panoramic views.
The deep hues of the lake provide a dramatic contrast with the verdant greens of the surrounding forest and countryside. Beyond, the snow-capped Swiss Alps create a scenic Alpine backdrop.
The hotel’s private funicular (cable car) takes guests down to the marina and Lake Lucerne.
With our local guide, we’ll enjoy a boat excursion on the lake to admire the beautiful scenery and surrounding area from the water.
After an enjoyable lunch in Lucerne, we will continue our guided tour through the narrow streets, viewing the historical places and attractions on land. Together, we will discover the city’s history and hear stories from daily life as we meander from the Chapel Bridge to the Octagonal Water Tower and Lucerne Castle. Delve into Lucerne’s historic Old Town, stroll along the city walls, and see the 16th-century houses for which Lucerne is famous.
Today we will visit the birthplace of your great airplane with a tour of the Pilatus Aircraft Factory.
Witness the varying steps that are taken to bring these beautiful birds to flight. The tour will provide background on the history of
Pilatus and give us an up-close look of their production facilities.
The perfect day to expand your love for your impressive aircrafts.
After breakfast and an in-depth briefing, we will launch for our over-water crossing to Reykjavik, Iceland. There will be a stop in Prestwick for lunch and to refuel.
Upon arrival, we will transfer to Hotel Borg where we will enjoy an overnight stay to prepare ourselves for our tomorrow’s flight.
Today you will fly to Ilulissat. Upon arrival, clear customs and transfer to the Hotel Arctic.
Afterwards we will venture out by boat into the Ice Fjord, cruising a fascinating variety of floes and icebergs.
On a clear day, the landscape is truly surreal. Hundreds of icebergs surround Ilulissat. They vary in shape from flat- topped hunks to jagged mountain peaks, and vary in size from small doghouses to mega-cruise ships and larger. And that's just the part above the surface! The Ice Fjord, which is close to Hotel Arctic, was included on UNESCO's World Heritage List at the 28th of The World Heritage Committee in the summer of 2004.
The Ice Fjord contains one of the biggest and most active glaciers in the world. Its 3,000 square kilometre area advances at a rate of 20 metres per day. The glacier "calves" about 10 % of the inland ice that is pressed out into the sea from Greenland, and there is nothing in the whole world that resembles it.
After breakfast, we will head west for our return home.
A technical stop has been arranged in Goose Bay for refueling before continuing onwards to Bangor, Maine, to clear US Customs. For those based on the west coast of the United States, an alternate stop to clear US customs can be arranged.
Afterwards, we will all go our separate ways home.
