Day 1 - Thursday, November 02: Stuart, FL (KSUA) → Tikal, Guatemala (MGMM) (815 NM)
Air Journey, along with your Journey Director, will greet you this morning at Stuart Airport (KSUA) for a pilot briefing before we fly to Flores Guatemala to visit Tikal.
Upon arrival, we will take our short transfer to our all - in - one hotel, museum, and spa, Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel, our home for the next three nights. Located within a private reserve, we will find ourselves immersed in the heart of Maya world surrounded by greenery and wildlife galore.
The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and settle - in to our jungle oasis. Explore the area or indulge in a relaxing spa treatment — the afternoon is yours to enjoy!
At the end of the day we will meet for welcome cocktail before dinner.

Day 2 - Friday, November 03: Tikal, Guatemala
After breakfast we will head out for a day of discovery via helicopter to the Tikal, which translates to “City of Echoes”. It is one of the largest archaeological sites and urban centers of the
pre-Columbian Maya civilization. Situated in the department of El Petén, the site is part of Guatemala’s Tikal National Park, which in 1979 was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Tikal is the best understood of any of the large lowland Maya cities, with a long list of dynasty rulers, the discovery of many of their tombs, monuments, temples, and palaces.
We will enjoy lunch this afternoon at the Tikal center plaza.
Once our time at the Tikal Ruins comes to an end, you are free to explore on your own or enjoy more of what our hotel has to offer. With five lagoons and Monkey Island located within one of those, there’s a lot to take in.

Day 3 - Saturday, November 04: Tikal, Guatemala
Today is at your leisure to explore or enjoy on your own.

Day 4 - Sunday, November 05: Tikal, Guatemala (MGMM) → Liberia, Costa Rica (MRLB) 385NM
After breakfast, we will take our transfer to the airport and take off to Liberia, our next destination.
Upon arrival we will transfer to Casa Chameleon. Located on Costa Rica’s pristine and exotic Guanacaste peninsula, Casa Chameleon Hotel at Las Catalinas is perched high on the hill-top above the new walkable town of Las Catalinas.
If you look to the sea from Las Catalinas, the Pacific stretches in every direction and beckons with countless activities. Beaches, swells, and warm waters make for great swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and more. Turning your gaze toward land, you’ll find over 1,000 acres of tropical forest, hills, and valleys. Day 5 - Monday, November 06: Liberia, Costa Rica
Today we will experience the natural beauty and wildlife of Tamarindo on an unforgettable boat safari tour through the stunning estuary. We will cruise through mangrove forests, spot playful monkeys and exotic birds, and soak up the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 6 - Tuesday, November 07: Liberia, Costa Rica
We will get ready for an unforgettable day of adventure and relaxation as we will embark on a private catamaran tour of the stunning Guanacaste Coast. We will have the opportunity to explore some of the region's most picturesque beaches, including Portero, Prieta, Sugar Beach, and Catalinas, all while enjoying the comfort and exclusivity of your own catamaran.
After a day filled with new sights and experiences, you'll have the rest of the day to unwind at your leisure.

Day 7 - Wednesday, November 08: Las Catalinas, Costa Rica
Today is at leisure to relax and explore the beautiful wildlife around Casa Chameleon.
We will meet in the evening for a pilot’s briefing for tomorrow’s flight.

Day 8 - Thursday, November 09: Liberia, Costa Rica (MRLB) → Key West, FL (KEYW) (860 NM)
After breakfast, we will transfer back to Liberia International Airport for our flight home. For our west or central United States friends, a return through Brownesville, TX, instead of West Palm Beach, is possible.
