Itinerary
Air Journey staff will welcome you at the Chateau de Frontenac for introductions and to attend a detailed briefing and flight safety demonstration. We’ll cover the route, regulations, flight plans, safety, etc.
Afterwards we’ll meet for a welcome cocktail before dinner.
Fly to Reykjavik, for our second water-crossing.
Upon arrival in Reykjavik, we will transfer to the Sands Hotel where we will enjoy luxury accommodations in the very heart of downtown. In front of the hotel, set in the pavement, is an engraved stone slab in memoriam of the Nobel Prize writer Halldor Laxness who was born in one of the buildings in the backyard. The hotel's location is perfect for those who want to enjoy cultural events, a casual stroll between cafes and all that Reykjavik has to offer.
Today we will witness Iceland’s most exciting natural attractions; we will see the one and only original Geysir, the magnificent Gull-foss Waterfall, the volcanic crater Kerid and across Gjabakkave-gur.
We will spend some time here observing the eruptions and exploring the hot springs before moving on to the Thingvellir Na-tional Park – a unique place of beauty with its interesting geology and history.
After lunch, we will head to the Sky Lagoon, located in the downtown Reykjavik for a swim in its naturally warm waters.
Fly to Colmar. Upon arrival, we will transfer to Hotel des Berges situated in the heart of a small village of Illhausern, in Alsace between Colmar and Strasbourg, in the garden of the Auberge de l'Ill.
The hotel’s restaurant, L’Auberge de I’lll is a famous two-Michelin starred gourmet restaurant that serves local French cuisine. We will enjoy a culinary Journey during our stay at Relais & Chateaux.
Today we will take a winery tour on the route des Vins d’Alsace. Meet the local wine makers and learn about Alsace’s history and sample grape varieties at the vineyard.
The Alsatian wine route offers a true picture-postcard image; fresh vines climbing to the forests of the Vosges, ruins of castles dating back to the Middle Ages, villages with old ramparts and lively cellars. We will also enjoy a picnic style lunch at the vineyard.
Today is free to relax and explore on your own. Experience the beauty and benefits of nature, by discovering the Spa des Saules or the heated swimming pool at the hotel. Bike rentals are also available to explore the local neighborhood.
Overlooking one of the most beautiful bays of the Costa Smeralda, the Hotel Cala di Volpe was built to resemble an ancient fishing village, with porches, granite flooring, arches and stairs.
A wooden bridge plunges into the crystalline waters of the sea while the beach is surrounded by juniper and myrtle bushes,
typical Sardinian rocks span the bay, helping to create the unique atmosphere for one of the most beautiful landscapes in the
Mediterranean.
Today we will enjoy an unforgettable full-day boat trip to the islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago. We will visit all the most beautiful islands: Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria and La Maddalena in a unique setting, and we will have plenty of time to swim in crystal clear waters, and check out some local souvenir shops.

Fly to Menorca - one of the Balearic Islands located in the western Mediterranean Sea.
Upon arrival, we will transfer to Menorca Experimental Hotel, inspired by the 19th century, finca, the hotel is designed in the spirit of an artists vacation cottage.
Today we will cruise the local waters by private boat (weather permitting) as we explore the island by sea.
There will be plenty of time for swimming as we explore the many “calas” or bays of the area, some only accessible by boat. Along the way, we will stop at a local restaurant for lunch.

Today we will fly to Bordeaux, the wine country of France. Les Sources de Caudalie, set among the prestigious vineyards of Château Smith Haut Lafitte and Grand Cru Classé de Graves, is located on the outskirts of Bordeaux. During our stay you will tour wineries and visit the medieval St Emilion village.
The afternoon is free to relax.
A full day tour will give you the opportunity to meet and share the life of a winery family, enjoy breathtaking scenery, discover with your private tour guide the fascinating history of the medieval village of St Emilion.

Fly to Aberdeen where we will transfer to The Fife Arms Hotel. The hotel is located in the historic Scottish village of Braemar amidst the majestic landscape of the Cairngorms National Park. Built in the 19th century, the hotel is evidence of Queen Victoria’s visits and her purchase of Balmoral.
Throughout Scotland there are many different castles with varying architecture and stories. Braemar is home to two castles, Braemar Castle and Kindrochit castle (ruin).
Dating as far back as 1628, Braemar castle has a colorful history including the first and second Jacobite uprising. With our local guide we will visit these castles including the Balmoral Castle.
Known as the Scottish home to the Royal Family, Balmoral castle was originally purchased by Prince Albert for Queen Victoria in 1852.
After breakfast and an in-depth briefing, we will launch for our over-water crossing to Iceland and spend the night at Hotel Borg.
After breakfast and another in-depth briefing, we will fly to Goose Bay for a technical stop to refuel before flying our separate ways as we head home.
