Day 1 - Tuesday, June 8: Brownsville, TX (KBRO) > Merida, Mexico (MMMD) 520NM

Air Journey, along with your Journey Director, will welcome you this morning to the Hunt Pan Am Aviation FBO at Brownsville Airport in Texas (KBRO) for a pilot briefing about the forthcoming flight.

Additional departure point, Stuart (KSUA), is available on request.

Fly to Merida, Mexico, the vibrant capital of the Mexican state of Yucatan. In the middle of this rich in Mayan and colonial heritage city, we find our gem of natural wealth nestled into the landscape. Chable Yucatan recovers the splendor of the aristocracy and the bases of Mayan well-being, offering endless adventure for the nature lover.

The rest of the day is at leisure. We will meet in the evening for a welcome cocktail.

Day 2 - Wednesday, June 9: Merida

Today we will visit Uxmal, an ancient Maya city of the classical period, considered one of the most important archaeological sites of Maya culture. This is the perfect example of the adventure being in the journey, not just in the destination.

The gems along the way include the Loltún caves, the largest caves on the peninsula, where evidence of human contact going back 7,000 years, mammoth, bison, feline and deer bones, have been found, along with fresco paintings on the walls. The Calcehtok Grottos, that served as refuge by the Mayan during the rebellion know as the “caste war”.

Once in Uxmal, we will be surrounded by some of the most impressive structures that formed part of the Mayan history. Among them are, the House of the Magician, the tallest structure standing at 100 feet; The Nunnery; and the Governor’s Palace.

Day 3 - Thursday, June 10: Merida

Today is at leisure to enjoy all that Chable has to offer. Partake in a tequila tasting of some of the best tequilas in Mexico accompanied by a select pairing in their award-winning Ixi’im restaurant, visit and learn about the Melipona bees sanctuary, or the Najil Cab, as known by the Mayans, enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Chable golf course and greens, or take in a game of tennis.

If relaxation is on the agenda for the day, take the beautiful staircase that slides though the vegetation and join the daily meditation and yoga sessions, experience Hydrotherapy in one of the twelve wooden cabins floating on the ce-note, or experience the Cable philosophy of well-being with a service in the Spa, that sits at the foot of the Cenote.

Day 4 - Friday, June 11: Merida, Mexico > Queretaro, Mexico (MMQT) 590NM

Our Journey continues on to Queretaro, where we will transfer to the Rosewood in San Miguel de Allende. Since opening in 2011, Rosewood San Miguel de Allende has been recognized as one of the best hotels in Mexico. Reminiscent of a grand hacienda, the hotel’s design was inspired by the rich history and authentic colonial architecture of its location.

Today is yours to explore on your own. Whether you are inspired to discover the artist within by the surrounding art, architecture, artists and artisans; hone your talents with a private lesson; see the beauty from a hot air balloon; see the city on horseback, or choose a thrilling day driving ATV’s - waking up to and admiring the very unique and beautiful morning sky of San Miguel de Allende, is a must.

Day 5 - Saturday, June 12: San Miguel de Allende

Man Miguel de Allende, known to be referred to as the Flor-ence of Mexico, has a light and creative energy to it that has been attracting international visitors since the 1930s. That has created a marriage between a European and Mayan colonial city once the richest city in the world, and artist of all walks of life and from all over the world, and birthed a beautifully balanced city, rich in history and alive with connection, inspiration, and an international feel.

After breakfast, we will head out for half a day to explore together. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at leisure.

Day 6 - Sunday, June 13: Queretaro, Mexico (MMQT) > Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (MMPR) 285NM

After breakfast we will transfer to Queretaro airport and fly to Puerto Vallarta where we will call the undisturbed natural setting of the One & Only Mandarina, home for the next three days.

A hidden retreat in Riviera Nayarit where swimmable shores, emerald cliffs, lush coastal rainforest, and warm waters with soft palm fringed white sands, lend an energetic environment crafted for reconnection.

Day 7 - Monday, June 14: Puerto Vallarta

Today is at leisure to relax or enjoy the many optional activities the resort has to offer.

Some of the available adventures include:

• Horseback trail riding or Polo lessons at the Polo & Equestrian Club

• Kayaking, Paddle boarding, Snorkeling, or Scuba diving, deep sea fishing

• Explore hiking and biking trails, from La Abuela – grandmother tree – to ancient petroglyphs

• Pick from a range of classes from healing flow yoga, meditation practices and rainforest workouts

• Enjoy a variety of services in the Spa with unique amenities, from Mud baths, to natural springs, to saunas and steam rooms looking into the jungle.

Day 8 - Tuesday, June 15: Puerto Vallarta

Today we will set out on a private boat where we will have the opportunity to snorkel and explore some of the area’s best spots like San Pancho and Sayulita, and take in the colorful views of volcanic rock and varied marine life hiding below the surface.

Day 9 - Wednesday, June 16: Puerto Vallarta (MMPR) > Brownsville, USA (KTUS) 535 NM

After breakfast we will transfer to the airport and fly to Brownsville, Texas to clear US Customs and take our flight back home.

Today we transition from the warm waters of Mexico to the warm and welcoming sun-kissed Arizona. Canyon Ranch is known as a place to discover wellness in the desert.

Here, we will experience the awe of some beautiful and powerful machines in the Pima Air and Space Museum, one of the world's largest non-government funded aerospace museums. It features a display of nearly 300 aircraft spread out over 80 acres on a campus occupying 127 acres. It has also been the home to the Arizona Aviation Hall of Fame since 1991.

The remainder of the day is at leisure. We will meet in the evening for a cocktail and dinner.
