Day 1 - Tuesday, September 4: Quebec City, Canada

Welcome to Quebec! Air Journey will greet you at the Chateau Frontenac.

All participants will meet in the late afternoon for introductions and to attend an extensive briefing covering the general procedures of our journey as well as details for tomorrow's departure.

Afterwards, we'll meet for a welcome cocktail and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 - Wednesday, September 5: Quebec City, Canada → Kuujjuaq, Canada (690nm) → Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (725nm)

We'll fly over the immense forests and numerous lakes of Labrador on our way to Kuujjuaq for a technical stop to refuel and have lunch.
 
Our flight continues over southern Greenland’s beautiful scenery before landing at Kangerlussuaq. Also known as Sonder Stroemfiord, Kangerlussuaq was an American airbase until September 1992. Almost all of the permanent structures in the town were built during the American occupation of the site. Just outside the airport you'll find fascinating wildlife with chances of seeing musk ox, reindeers, arctic foxes, falcons, eagles, and ravens.

Day 3 - Thursday, September 6: Kangerlussuaq → Reykjavik, Iceland (730nm)

Fly to Reykjavik.

Apotek Hotel is a boutique hotel located in the very heart of Reykjavik. The historical building formerly housed the pharmacy Reykjavikur Apotek and is widely considered to be one of the most remarkable buildings in Reykjavik.

We'll go for a swim in the Blue Lagoon, Iceland's most unique and popular attraction. Communicating a world of healing power, wellness and beauty, the Blue Lagoon was founded on a unique source of geothermal seawater that originates in Iceland's extreme environment.

Day 4 - Friday, September 7: Reykjavik

Enjoy an incredible full day Super Jeep tour where you will witness Iceland's most exciting natural attractions.
 
First we'll visit Thingvellir National Park - a unique place of beauty with its interesting geology and history before heading eastbound on the mountain road to Lyngdalsheiði to view the lava fields on the hills above Laugarvatn.
 
At Haukadalur, you'll see the famous Strokkur geyser erupting and spewing boiling water into the air. We'll spend some time here observing the eruptions and exploring the hot springs before heading up to the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall cascading into the white Hvita River along with glacial water.

Day 5 - Saturday, September 8: Reykjavik → Dublin, Ireland (805nm)

Fly to Dublin where we will transfer - across the emerald green fields and hills of Ireland - to Castle Leslie.

Nestled on 1,000 acres of undulating Irish countryside, dotted with ancient woodlands and glittering lakes, Castle Leslie Estate is one of the last great Irish estates still in the hands of its founding family. The Leslie Family can trace its ancestry back to Atilla the Hun.

Day 6 - Sunday, September 9: Dublin

Today is at leisure to relax and enjoy optional activities including afternoon tea in the castle, kayaking or boating on the lake, a visit to the hotel's Victorian Spa, fishing for Pike on Glaslough Lake, explore the variety of exceptional routes for walkers, indulge in clay pigeon shooting, falconry, experience the magic of a hot air baloon flight, or horse riding at the equestrian center.

Day 8 - Tuesday, September 11: Dublin → Copenhagen, Denmark (675nm)

Fly to Copenhagen. Transfer to the Hotel d'Angleterre - located in the heart of Copenhagen.
 
For more than 250 years, the d'Angleterre has been located on Kongens Nytorv in the heart of Copenhagen. The hotel has been the site for legendary political, royal and national events throughout Denmark's history. 
 
It was at the d'Angleterre that the Danish politician and theologian; Ditlev Gothard Monrad presented his draft of the new constitution to the lawmakers of the day on the 5th of June 1849. The hotel has served as headquarters for German generals and officers during World War II  as well as an asylum for war rrefugees on a number of occasions.

Day 9 - Wednesday, September 12: Copenhagen

Depart the hotel with our local guide for a walking tour of the city. You'll learn about the city's interesting history and visit some of the highlights of the Danish capital and its famous landmarks such as the statue of the Little Mermaid inspired by Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tale, City Hall, Christiansborg Palace, the old City Center, and picturesque Nyhavn Harbour.
 
After lunch we'll head to the Northern Sealand. During our drive along the scenic coastline we'll come to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kronborg Castle, better knows as the Hamlet castle in the city of Elsinore. From here, we'll cross into the countryside of North Sealand for our tour of "Fredensbord", the palace of peace, where it is possible to take a walk in the Queen's own park. You will finish at the re-established Renaissance era Frederiksborg Castle and discover the Danish national history.

Day 10 - Thursday, September 13: Copenhagen → Gothenburg, Sweden (125nm)

Fly to Gothenburg on the west coast of southwestern Sweden.
 
Situated on the top floors of Gothia Tower's second tower, the Upper House hotel offers spectacular views of the city below. One of the highlights is the outdoor glass-bottom pool with views overlooking Gothenburg.

Day 11 - Friday, September 14: Gothenburg

With our local guide we'll explore the historic sights of Sweden's busiest port city.

Day 12 - Saturday, September 15: Gothenburg → Stockholm, Sweden (215nm)

Fly to Stockholm.

Day 13 - Sunday, September 16: Stockholm

Enjoy a city tour with our local guide as we visit City Hall and Old Town before hopping on a canal boat to cruise along the city's scenic archipelago.

Day 14 - Monday, September 17: Stockholm → Bergen, Norway (385nm) → Reykjavik, Iceland (790nm)

After an in-depth briefing, we will launch for our over-water crossing to Reykjavik. There will be a technical stop in Bergen.

Day 15 - Tuesday, September 18: Reykjavik → Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (730nm) → Goose Bay, Canada (870nm) → Home

After Breakfast and another in-depth briefing, we will head home. There will be a stop in Kangerlussuaq, and Goose Bay for lunch and to refuel.
