It is essential to follow the general license requirements issued by the U.S. Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) for such people-to- people educational exchange trips, as dictated by U.S. law. All participants of this Journey are required to adhere to the pre-planned schedule of people-to-people activities. Deviation from this itinerary, even in part, is not permitted. Per

OFAC general license requirements, this is a full-time program, and there will be little or no free time on the program.

Changes to Itinerary

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit a country that has been inaccessible to Americans for a long time. Specific inclusions of our itinerary are dependent on outside factors and host availability; therefore, there may be changes to the original itinerary but will uphold the same level of interest and be of equal relevance. Things work differently in Cuba and some activities may become unavailable for a number of different reasons. Therefore, flexibility and an open mind are key in having the best possible experience.

Cuba Hotels

Air Journey promises the use of the best available hotels all over the world, but hotels of this caliber are rarely found in

Cuba. The island has limited resources, and although changes are being made, power outages are not uncommon, air-conditioning may not always work properly and plumbing pressure may pose a problem. Be assured that Air Journey believes that the hotels featured on this program are the very best accommodations available – clean, comfortable and with a friendly staff.

Conditions:

  • A valid passport is a must
  • No vaccinations or visas are required for this tour.
  • Life vests and are mandatory, and a life raft is recommended. These can be rented with the assistance of Air Journey.

Please note that hotel accommodations and sightseeing are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Air Journey reserves the right to amend the order of sightseeing as necessary. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued.

Our quoted prices include planning, handling and operational charges; they are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes as of March 2015. Air Journey reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increased costs, tariffs and taxes, and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets.

Aircraft Insurance: Coverage is needed for the Caribbean.  Please make sure that you check with your insurance company before registration for the Journey. Should you have any problem getting coverage, please call (561) 841-1551. Air Journey will help you work the details out with your insurance company.
