Under a time crunch? Air Journey has been authorized by the Department of Homeland Security to file a pilot’s eAPIS in the event they do not have an eAPIS log in. Obtaining an eAPIS username and password can take up to seven days.
For example, it is Thursday and you want to take the family on a weekend trip to the Bahamas. Unfortunately, you were not aware that eAPIS existed. Without Easy Air Journey’s emergency eAPIS you would have not been able to leave the country as you would not have received your login information in time. Instead, call Air Journey and provide the appropriate information. Air Journey will file your eAPIS manifest up to two hours prior to departure. Once your eAPIS has been filed, Air Journey will call and email you a confirmation from the Department of Homeland Security.
